CBS called out Kiffin

He said in press conference he didn't like having pros coming back. CBS exposed that he had reached out to these NFL guys
That's it? That's how you think CBS got heem?
Why are you halfwits acting like Kiffin is the only coach going after these eligible players?

OP seems very smart. He must be correct. Lane should just pack his bags now.

Not aimed at LSU or Kiffin but in an ideal world he'd already be done as a HC. We don't live in anything close to that when it comes to CFB....in the world we actually have on that front he is merely doing whatever is within the "rules" which are, for the most part non-existent if anyone chooses to challenge them, and is doing so for all the right reasons. He was hired to win football games, period. He wasn't hired to make a 61 year old UGA fan (me) have the warm fuzzies remembering how things used to be. I suspect most LSU fans, if they're being honest, would prefer some semblance of what CFB once was....but that isn't where CFB is. LSU and Kiffin and Texas Tech and the degenerate gambler is not the disease...they are merely what the disease has created and it is going to get FAR worse than it is now if something doesn't change.

CBS Sports exposed Kiffin as a bald faced liar
He exposed himself when he left Tennessee...while that turn of events was great for anyone who likes to frick with Tennessee it wasn't great for college football and the same is true of what he did to Ole Miss and what he is doing at LSU. He is paid to win football games period. There are no rules if someone decides its worth the effort to challenge them in CFB right now and its going to be this way for a long time most likely. The system is devouring itself in real time with instant access to information, both real and not so real...its going to be much worse before it gets any better.

They don't like talking about that. They also don't like talking about their basketball coach signing pro players.

CBS called out Kiffin. He said in press conference he didn't like having pros coming back. CBS exposed that he had reached out to these NFL guys that were in camps offering them more money than they could get as a practice squad player and recruited them to file a suit in BR.

Would you have a problem if an LSU rep contacted players/agents, offered them a lay of the land, including LSU interest and gave them a sense as to what their options might be? If I was a player struggling to make a roster, I'd certainly appreciate that contact.
