OU picked up a Russian 6”11 guy same story one semester to play .

OU got what they wanted when joining the sec.

The administration was tired of the big 12 screwing OU around with the 11 am fox games of the week 4 times a year becuase every single big game usually involved OU. We got tired of playing Iowa state KSU etc . We tried to make them out as big games but in reality it was OU Texas . That’s it .
In the sec we now have games that matter weekly . Maybe 1-2 easy games a year . That crowd Friday night was fire … OU lives for the big games . It’s why unlike Texas I seriously doubt OU will ever not try and big ooc games . Those games are what makes college football great along with the big games in the sec … To much tradition at OU to run away from that .. Now 9 sec games will be hard teams will have to adapt .
Think most OU fans are 100 percent happy with the move .

Think the data is wrong I read somewhere the Bama OU game was like 18.2 mil viewers.
I think we could go to 24 teams if we eliminate conference titles . Zero point of having it . Zero byes 1vs 24 at home first two rounds at home for top seeds . week to week no two weeks in between and give the final four 10 days in between games. . Home games are where it’s at it makes college football like it should be passion! That OU home game was rocking wish everyone could experience that with their team .

Yes Baker was hurt two months ago …. He was playing at mvp level before getting hurt . Not only that but they have had major injuries on offense this year … think every single wr has been hurt this year at some point .

A@M benefited from playing the bottom 7 sec teams and got blown out he’s the only top 8 team they faced ….. they are a top 20 team but either they got players hurt or this team

On two key plays Venables rushed 3-4 plays with Bama having their entire OL run blocking with there tes … that call on the goal line was almost like he was letting them into the endzone I was like wtf was that He got scared once we got beat deep on that one play … you have to live with those .

The guy who dropped the ball as injured probably shouldn’t even be playing he’s our number one running back and he ran like 2-4 times . We just don’t quite have enough depth on offense I think . Defense played okay today .

Proven to be right they were down 17-0 shellshocked. OU gave them hope and they took it … so many chances to blow you guys out …. That’s football momentum gotta give Bama credit they deserve it … I will say that false start 40 yard pass costed OU severe field position without that key play I bet OU wins . Maybe not but we had momentum gg. Good comeback .

No one predicted us to be a threat and early we looked the part . Venables has us going in right direction . Ty Simpson didn’t have any horrible plays . He takes a lot to sacks but he also is an elite qb. Mateer will be a beast next year I have little doubt . Defensively I think OU is going to be better imo . We don’t lose much .
