he picked Auburn a few years back in either their NC winning or NC appearance year as the SEC West and/or Conf winner. But, if you throw enough schit against the wall...

Sure. Everything is shut down for a year.

People are already getting antsy. I see fat people out walking and riding bikes for god's sake.

Dabo needs to pick up his direct line to the Lord and end this for all of us.

Mnuchin and Schumer spent 72 hours squabbling over unrelated and unnecessary stipulations they both wanted to add to the relief bill. It was an embarrassing display of self-interest in American politics.

He's probably right. Don't see how they allow it, especially people attending games till they have a quick fix for this virus.

People are criticizing him but right now, how many people have COVID-19 but do not show systems, people who don't smoke, exercise, etc, that have built up immunity to this. Well, during football as the weather gets cooler on the back end of the schedule, people are inside more (closer to each other) and you have 100K fans in some instance in stadiums sharing restroom facilities that are not spacious enough, etc. Vaccines for the flu slow it down and even with the vaccine, people with compromised immunity still die from it.

There is no vaccine for this. So yes, football being cancelled this year is a real possibility.

Cole Cubelic, one of my favorite SEC Network guys said something similar to Herbie, he was more nuanced. The comments about the CFB season are in the latter part of the video. So more and more talking heads are saying this, which means in my view, they are getting subtle hints from the powers that be from ESPN, SEC network, etc. So i am only listening to media guys in the Football industry and listening to what they are saying. Trying to read between lines.

By the end of May business owners and the consumers both will be fed up with this.

It won’t be the business owners. It will be up to the virus. If containment works and warmer weather suppresses the spread, things will be approaching normal. Fauci and the other infectious disease/epidemiologist experts say there’s a strong expectation that it spread again the fall with a second wave We need a vaccine.

College and pro football will not happen he claims. Says you can't play until there's a vaccine. If true then there won't be any sports for a year or more.

If that happens, then for once, I'll accept his "cesspool in Austin" comment

The smaller ones, most assuredly. At least basketball finished out the regular season.

I would agree with that unless there are an easily affordable treatment and quick testing.

Great post. Fauci also pointed out the southern hemisphere is getting hit too - so warm weather isn't stopping it.
