I don't think they salvage anything less than a full schedule with appropriate time to prepare. It's everything, or it's nothing.

Mike Pence and Dr. Fauci have both said that the current April target for re-opening is a longshot. They're the ones calling the shots.

Cuomo is in a different position because New York is already bad.

Thats not how it works. It could easily start and get shut down like all the spring sports did.

There is a proven treatment. Much of the country is not affected very much. 99% recovery rate. More than half of the cases are in NYC.

On the other hand the leftist media intentionally created the panic and they desperately want the panic to continue.

This isn’t remotely “Biblical” in size and isn’t unprecedented by any stretch of the imagination. In the history of Pandemics, the current one is minuscule

I have never understood this though process from individuals who claim to know the Bible because you wouldn’t have posted this if you were unsure of your knowledge. The US is a country/civilization in a long list of countries that have risen and fell since the Earth was created. It is no more or no less important than the thousands of its predecessors. You could argue that we are a “superpower” therefore we are much more important but so were other civilizations in some form or fashion for their time. You could argue that we are a “Christian” nation but so were others. Is God punishing the whole World or just the US? Why would God be singling out the US at this particular moment when there have been much more trying moments in US history like the Revolution, Civil War, Great Depression, World War 2, Vietnam, etc? Were those punishments as well? Trying to apply Biblical events to a nation that not only didn’t exist during the time of the Bible but was on a continent that hadn’t even been discovered yet is extremely misleading. This isn’t the time of Abraham or Moses, he used his power then to show that he existed because there was no written word yet of his teachings. God didn’t strike down civilizations during or after the time of Jesus because his teachings were made known and recorded. God doesn’t need to strike you down to let you know how you should be living. It’s written in the Bible if you are confused about how you should be living. I hope you aren’t one of those “Christians” that tells people that “God is in control” after their child dies from cancer. Of course he is in control but he didn’t take, curse, or teach that child’s parents a lesson; cancer took the child not God. The US is full of people who have sinned just like every other nation on the Earth and every nation that has existed since time began.
