I do agree with you this is one of those things that will change us and behavior. Was telling someone much younger than me the other day 9/11, Magic coming out saying he was HIV positive, Berlin Wall, Nixon, Vietnam. Carter administration and gas lines. I remember all of those things and it changed us and the world. This is probably one of those events. And I’ll admit I didn’t think it would be this bad.

Great post.
This event will displace tens of millions of Ameicans from their jobs. Money will be tight everywhere. People won't be willing to pay $200 for concert or football tickets anymore. Prices for tickets for any type of entertainment event will decline drastically - and live entertainers will earn less. This is an evolutionary event.
When college football does come back there won't be as many people in the stadiums. They will be somewhere else doing something else. What? Anything that doesn't cause anxiety.

We didn’t start this fire, but we did remove the smoke detectors.

Well attendance has gone down anyway. I think that’s right I read that. Why am I going to get in that traffic when I can watch on TV? And let’s face it my team doesn’t exactly see great competition until January. Not much to get excited about a Wake game.

At least your team wins championships and great memories will never be forgotten. The next year, you have something to look forward to. I don't.
Now my team is awful and a highlight reel of bad. Watching it should be used for torturing terrorists and not for innocent eyes. No good memories and nothing good will come out of it. No end in sight because history always repeat itself.
Live in the moment and cherish the good times and remember it could always be worse.

He did. He banned Chinese entry into the US in January. The media and the progressive ideologues attacked him and called him a racist.

Well I appreciate that and Clemson has been on a good run. Maybe next year. Who knows. Right now LSU is the king of the mountain and Alabama is the standard. Maybe Clemson gets there but this isn’t going to last forever for us. Hang in there Carolina fans. Nothing last forever.

Wouldn't this destroy most SEC towns economies?
Well of course not, the Coaches are still on payroll and the facilities still exist, that should be enough, after all I've been told numerous times, the players have no value and all the value in a CFB Program is due to the HC & the Facilities
So based on that the Coach should be able snap his finger and generate tons of money for the Athl Dept sans the Players

And he follows that big win up with a string of bad losses. Don’t forget to add that part in.

I'd much rather have no Kirk Herbstreit for a year

Don’t necessarily agree. It’s not the norm but a small small dot on the map like Clemson the town depends on people being there those 7 or 8 Saturday’s. Look at the economic impact the run Clemson has been on has had on the town itself. New homes and apartments being built. Now I would agree most larger cities the Impact would not be felt as great but college football make no mistake has an impact on the economy.

I fully agree, which is why I have said for the one-thousandth time, that the Players are the driving force behind that and deserve cash payments in addition to their base scholly
More than the CoA Stipends
Those Sports that lose money and don't turn a Profit, wouldn't get the extra cash
Real simple but folks make it real difficult

Great post. Fauci also pointed out the southern hemisphere is getting hit too - so warm weather isn't stopping it.
Correct and good analysis. LA has over 3,000 cases and temperatures this March have been consistently in the 80's, we have hit 88-89 several times already.
