If KT is staying at MSU no matter what, then it obviously doesn't matter.
If your team has an incredible season, other programs will be after your HC, your QB, coaches on your staff, as well as any other players that are any good.
Is MSU's booster money that strong? I honestly don't know.

I’m a lifelong LSU fan but would play for Alabama over LSU for $6m more dollars. I wouldn’t be happy about it but that’s life changing money for you and your family and you never know when you could have a career ending injury. Would be selfish to turn it down.
