Lane will be right there with the rest of them to drop a bag on him after the season.

Mississippi State is already prepared to up Komani Taylors compenstion package to StarkVegas bucks, a key to Starkvegas, free lifetime supply of furniture from Ashley's, and a gift card from 7 brew.

State looks like a legit team with players who buy into the school and culture.
LSU is less an actual team and more an assembly line of mercenary's who couldnt give a shite less about the school itself.
Theyre going to have a good season and will be more than happy to pay the young man so Lane is going to need to look somewhere else to mask his inability to recruit out of high school

State has yet to prove they can retain anyone of note. His injury in the bowl game was the best thing could happen for State otherwise he’d be wearing a different uniform this fall.

In regards to Kamario, it’s going to take a substantial amount to get him away from Starkville. Like more than Mississippi State is willing to pay and add another million or 2 on top of that. He grew up a State fan.
LSU could do that but I don’t think Kiffin will pay that much. The only team to “worry” about making a run at him is Miami.

As an LSU fan I would love to have the kid but honestly I hope he stays at State. Would be a good story in this day and time. Kid could be the #1 pick in 2028.
They are going to have to write a $5-6 million check to keep him.

Miami and Oregon have probably already contacted his agent.

Got the balls to place a ban bet that he won’t be suited up in maroon and white next year fella?

The only way he leaves is if another team throws $10 million at him. That’s the only number I don’t think Mississippi State would touch.

What a stupid don't know crap post

I hope he sticks at State. Parity is good for college football. Mississippi State being a top half SEC team with the ability to knock off one of the big names makes the season more exciting.

Lane pulled the 6th best high school class in his first and shortened year based on average rating.
What’s the culture at Georgia? Reckless driving?

This is getting down voted to hell but he’s right. Until MSU can show that they can sustain the slot of NIL offers to their star players, then you have to assume that a stud quarterback won’t be there long unless he’s truly a fan of that school.

I don’t think it’s this off-season you have to worry about. I think it’s when he’s going to be a season, junior and some top-tier school who has every component, but a solid quarterback comes calling. If he is the missing piece between a team missing out on the playoffs and possibly being in a national champion, it’s worth the several million dollars they throw at them.

How did they get a Bowl game last year??

nailed it. Miami would 100% open up the bag to pay him. That would be my prediction to land him as well.

While I agree with you, State has been able to pay Josh Hubbard with all the big boys coming for him multiple times. They'll try to keep KT1.
