"whipped" is defined differently
Its not always the score. Getting the ball ran down your throat for almost 450 yards when your team prides itself on defense is a whipping.

If I had to make a prediction right now I'd say he won't be the coach at auburn in 4 years.
Might be wrong but that's just the feeling I have.

It should tell you that LSU's worst team still didn't get smashed by Auburn's best team. You should hope to be competitive in down years. To completely discount it may be a mistake.

I wish LSU fans would just take their thoughts and keep it themselves in instances like this.

True, but WV put 533 on LSU and they still lost. So your point is kinda moot when you only win by 7 in your own house.

Dumb thread.
Chiz will probably have a 30-10 record at AU after this season with the potential to win 9 games next year.

The real question is "why are you asking this now?"
We won't know the answer for a while.
I think as long as the Gus bus is there they will be decent.
Last year they were buoyed by Cam, talent on the OL and DL, and a lot of luck combined with some very clutch performances and a team that believed in itself.
They have talent on that offense. Kiehl Frazier will be a good QB and probably will start next year. They'll still have the AARP card-holding RB, and a couple of young and talented WRs. I can't say whether they'll have good play on the OL, because that remains to be seen.
In short, I think they can have a high quality team, but I don't think Cheesedick will ever win a BCS title game.
EDIT: I forgot Rocker was with the Titans now.

If it is the offense's fault, then why would Chiz be the flash in the pan and not Gus? He still seems to be pretty high on a lot of wish lists for head coach.
Give Auburn 2012 and 2013. If, after those two seasons, they have not challenged for the SEC and a BCS spot, then yes maybe Chiz needs to be reevaluated, but so far he has shown a talent for bringing in good coches who bring in good recruits. After losing the entire starting o-line, a Heisman winner, the top wideouts, 3 of the 4 d-line starters from las year, I think everyone expected a struggle this year. Come February the team should be back up to 85 scholarship players and things should be better.
And how is the 10-9 game, which was played under two completely different head coaching regimes, any indication of what AU will do in the future?

On defense, Tracy Rocker is a good DL coach. But that's about it IMO.

It isn't. You COMPLETELY missed the point. The point was and remains that the beatings by Arkansas and LSU may be an indicator of some problems because LSU's worst team since 2000 competed with Auburn's best team since 2000 on the road. The next message was everyone knows that you will be down, but usually the teams on the upswing still compete during their down years. It isn't an analogy. It is an example. Two totally different things that tell us different things.
this:this :: this:this =/= this example shows that it is possible to do x and that assuming it has to be y is incorrect.

I agree. Hard to see Chizik surviving long term with Saban as his in state competition.

I'm sure- hell, I KNOW- that lots of people said the same thing about us in 2008.
I can't say for certain they'll repeat any of the magic that happened last year (in my opinion, they we're ripped off in 2004 and deserved that title last season). But I'm sure they will be back.
I think he's a good coach.
