I’m starting to get worried given that we have lost two games at home against teams that aren’t very good. WKU is honestly better than Tech, and I could probably excuse one loss to youth, but 2/3 is alarming. I’ll let the season play out, but the trend needs to start going back upwards rather soon....
They need to be able to hit some jumpers too and stop the silly turnovers. Otherwise teams will just collapse on Gafford and play “hack-a-Gafford”. But I like the defensive hustle. ...

I've been hearing a lot of hype about Garland, has anyone seen him play at the high school/AAU level? What's the scouting report on him?...
I think the actual headline was more like “Nutt replaces Johnson with Dick”, which is still hilarious on multiple levels. ...
expected better from the bench.
This. CJ Jones never replaced Dusty Hannahs the way he was supposed to and the backup forwards never amounted to much more than energy guys who could hit the occasional jumper. Darious Hall was the primary bright spot among the bench players. ...
No.
This. This was a season that was supposed to be judged on the tournament run. I wouldn’t call it a failure, but the expectations were set for something better than this ending. I still don’t think MA should go, but I think he needs to make the tournament next year via an...
Not sure if anyone said this, but...No?...

There will need to be a lot of offensive maturing done to make this upcoming team a good one. If Gafford comes back, we will still need one of the energy players like Bailey or Osabuihien to get a consistent mid range jumper to act as a zone buster. And CJ Jones will have to develop some consiste...

I know he didn't go out the way he probably wanted to go out, but he was one my favorite players to watch. Undersized guard who played with a lot of fire and a chip on his shoulder. I will miss watching him play....

The way I look at it is as follows: If we had made a deep tourney run, I would have been willing to give a pass for a disappointing year next year given the amount of youth we will have. However, since we flamed out early, I expect at least another tournament appearance, regardless of youth and ...

I'm a Mike Anderson fan, but I'll be honest, I'm definitely a bit disappointed. Given the amount of depth and experience returning from last year, the year was going to be defined by tournament performance, and I expected a bit more than what we got today....

Semantics aside, I agree with you. But the point still stands. I don't think we would be saying anything different if it was a 5 pt loss versus a 15 pt loss....

I've been a huge Mike Anderson fan the whole year and I still am, but here's my two cents: I believe an Arkansas basketball coach should be able to win at least 65% of his games, and we should be making the tournament for the majority of the time. Assuming we struggle next year because of all ...
I do, but underlying all of it is the ridiculous debate people have been having about whether we need to keep or get rid of Mike Anderson. ...

re: How are your brackets so far?

AZ loss killed me. I didn't have them going too far (Sweet 16), but broke the streak for today. I picked the Miami upset as well. However, after the first round is when my brackets always fall apart. I'm always curious what people use as a picking strategy. I like to look at end of year t...
Jesus, wait until we at least play our game tomorrow before melting. I get it that some people aren't enamored with CMA's performance, but this is getting beyond ridiculous....
I like this post. I think the analysis makes sense. Offensive boards allow opposing teams to slow the game down and allow them to play at a pace that they like....
