Are you sure it's just not Clemson continuing to run the score up for the hell of it?
The Orange Bowl didn't have a choice. They have to take the ACC champion and they had the last pick and West Virginia was an automatic qualifier.
I'm pretty sure there were multiple eligible teams that didn't spend last evening getting run out of the building by a thoroughly mediocre Clemson team for the second time this season. I'd start with any of them.

Choosing Virginia Tech is going to cause a nuclear fallout from administrators, fans, and the media.
I agree, Hate to say anything positive about The Barn, but the truth is the truth.
The inability to close out close games has kept AK's teams out of the NCAA Tournament. This team looks like it might be able to break that trend. I'll be interested to see your game against Southern Miss.

He's the ineffective failure who spends all of his time trying to convince people he is tough and savvy. Muschamp is Sonny, the hothead whose temper and lack of self control will ultimately be his demise. Kirby Smart is Michael, the brilliant son who will eventually carry the Don's legacy forward.

they should be called the Sybulldogs.
Robinson, Ware, and Caldwell-Pope is a solid perimeter group. If Thorton or the newcomers can do soemthing in the post, UGA will be decent.
Maymon was dominating a mediocre 6'4" D-II player. When he starts playing guys his own size, he'll revert to being a worthless turnover machine.
If Tennessee breaks .500, Martin will have done a magnificent job. This team will have serious trouble generating offense against even average defenses.
