No Chiz isnt even a flash. Cam Newton was the "flash" and without him Auburn would have sucked last year.

I wouldn't say they would have sucked. They're probably an 8 win team without Cam, but I agree. Chiz will hold his own in this league.

The difference is not in talent or recruiting. The difference is in scheme. I'm just not sure that Auburn's offensive ideology will translate to success in the SEC. It didn't work before Cam. It certainly worked last year. But that was predicated on a guy that may be the best athlete of our generation. We'll see if he can make it work long term.

When Alabama slaughtered UF in CUM's first season what did you think then?

I think he's a very good coach.

Edit: When he took over, Auburn was 5-7 the previous year, and depleted of depth. In 2 years won the NC.

Auburn lost a lot of key players from last year.

It wasn't until McCaleb (sp.) ran around the end that you actually took control of the game in the 4th quarter. The final score was 24-17. Don't act like you sat on the ball for 10 minutes and chewed clock.

Well considering we had a top 3 defense and Meyer was waiting on his golden boy to come the next year...

We had the ball 1st and goal on the 3 yard line with over a minute left. You would have needed the Vols 5-5-3 defense to stop Cam after running up 450 yards on you.

We downed it three times and let the clock run out.

Dont be so insecure. You guys whipped us good this year. But is has nothing to do with last year. You were whipped.

I think Chizik is over-rated. He did jack squat at ISU and then somehow lucked into Cam Newton and Gus Malzhan. I'd bet he gets shown the door in a few years.

good lord, we played one of the best LSU squads ever with a team that is more than half freshman. youre a fricking moron if u base anything off that one game.

Remember that time the worst LSU team since 2000 played your best Auburn team since 2000 to a 10-9 game on the road. The game may tell you more than you think, sir.

Even if you had scored 1-Goal. Winning by 14 isn't a whipping. Florida whipped LSU in 96 when it was 56-7. 24-17 or 31-17 with LSU's pathetic offense of 2010 isn't a whipping.
