Not sure where Flecks name came from but I do know that Brent Key has interviewed. What that means I don’t know. Don’t know if it was a phone call or zoom or in-person.
Also Dabo is shopping hard for a new home in SEC country. Could be UF LSU etc… don’t count Arkansas out they already have Cal plus Dabo is weird like that.

I do not dislike Dilly just stating the obvious. In these searches you don't start there. Especially when we going to be spending 9 mill anyway.
I do believe however it's much more likely we get Lashlee than Dilly

Yeah I doubt Lane, Lanning or Freeman come here unless we pay them 15M+ Their schools are going to match whatever we pay
Here’s the problem. Dilly already makes 6 mill. That means we would pay 7,8, or 9. Same thing Kiffin and Freeman make.

So no, John Cohen absolutely does NOT need to wait and exhaust all efforts to make Lanning "say no" because it is a losing proposition from the start.
I mean a simple phone call will suffice to gauge interest. It won't take weeks or months to determine if any of the "big 3" would entertain offers.
You absolutely have to try if you're in Cohens shoes. He's fricked up twice. AU is bottom dweller now because. It's his last shot. Imagine being under that much pressure and saying Dilly is your guy lol.
Like I said we may end up with him but Cohen is swinging big. He may strike out quickly with a decent pool of guys to fall back on but if you're in his shoes and where AU is present day you make those calls first. You don't go straight to the tier 2 candidates.
Like many have said you're going to spend 6-9 million regardless.

Who do you think are the top options for Cohen?
Knowing Cohen is on thin ice.... I think he exhausts all efforts on Lanning, Lane, Freeman etc..... when and if those fail then it's Summral Dilly Lashlee etc....
Just know if it is Dilly Dilly Summral etc.. Don't believe Cohen at the Presser when he says they were our number 1 target and the only guy we wanted

Dilly or bust, bros.
I think Dilly is a stretch for Cohen. He just fricked up 2 hires and has to get this one right. Not saying Dilly or Summral won't fall in our lap but I highly doubt they are the top options on Cohen's list.
Yes them short throws were money the long ones too but the quick game to Singleton was fabulous.
No but he was incredible tonight
Durkin just got a lesson in coaching

Great game but damn he didn’t have an answer for Vandy. Their offensive coordinator won that game hands down. Anytime they needed an answer they dialed it up. Great game shout out to Ashton Daniel’s but man o man Durkin better cal their OC daddy
Can we jam stowers at the LOS or nah?

Yep. Can't help but feel like there's more to the story than Bruce suddenly wanting to retire right before the season
Pretty obvious watching this team Bruce didn't want to tarnish his AU tenure so he peaced out. He said it himself that he wanted to go out on top. This team is young and plays young. 9 seed incoming
But ya just giving the keys to Steven is dumb AF after Bruce turned us into a blue blood.
Dilly ain't got no dog in him if he don't want one of these jobs.
On the other hand Kiffin is about to leave a job he could retire at and have statues built but he wants to win natty's so peace out Ole Miss

I don't see any of the candidates being more than 8-9 win guys IMO.
Brohm, Dilly, Lashlee Summral, I don't see them striking fear into UGA, Bama, Kiffin etc...

No way in hell DJ would work under Dilly.
If we get Dilly we get the entire ASU staff. Not saying that's good or bad.
Pretty strange Lashlee isn't mentioned I know he's making bank but if Charles Kelly is a contender you would think golden boy Lashlee would be.
Give me DJ over Kelly all day everyday

I don’t get the Schumann love. He’s not Lanning or Muschamp and feel ther defense has taken steps backwards
More likely due to NIL and not being able to stack 5*s than scheme IMO
I don't want any Auburn retreads or anyone associated. Time to treat this thing like the big business it is and not a local friday night football home team
Thats why I don't want Dilly or Lashlee
The golf course without clubs is lame. We go all the time to pickup food or to eat there and i'll step out while waiting and watch people hit balls.
Sounds like Cohen has his man based on the first few mintues
