This is just flat out lazy. 3 of the last 4 coaches won national championships.

True. Also true, 3 of the last four coaches were fired, two during the season.

Lane Kiffin never stays anywhere for very long. It doesn't matter how good or bad the circumstances are at his job. He'll make it so he will leave, has to leave, or is asked to leave one way or another.

It's funny people keep saying this even after he was at Ole Miss for -check notes- 6 years and decided to leave for a job upgrade which many coaches do. Ole Miss was never going to be the end game job for him.

USC also fired him back in 2013, he didnt leave on his own

3 of the last 4 coaches have won national championships, including the worst coach in Ole Miss history.

If that’s what you call killing their career, I think LSU fans will take it.

He stays just as long as any other coach

Does he?

Brave search on Kiffin's avg. job duration.
Lane Kiffin's average job duration as a head coach is approximately 2.3 years, calculated across his seven distinct head coaching stops which span a total of 14 seasons.

The all-time average coaching tenure for every SEC school is approximately 3.3 to 5.1 years, with Florida and Tennessee tied for the longest average tenure at 5.1 years each. In contrast, Ole Miss and Kentucky have the shortest average tenures at 3.3 years, while LSU and Missouri average just under four years (3.9 and 4.0 years, respectively).

Historical data indicates that coaches hired in the modern era can expect an additional half-year on average compared to the turn of the 20th century, when tenures rarely exceeded one or two seasons.
*****************************
Oklahoma average is about 5.4 years.
Texas average is about 4.2 years.

That's odd, three coaches had their careers made or catapulted by LSU.

Saban - check
Miles - check
O - check

Kiffin's average duration as a college head coach has been 3.5 years, fairly common duration.

And that's really being driven down by the one year at Tennessee. Take Tenner away and it's 4.3

Lane Kiffin capitalized on the changing college football landscape early & now that everyone understands the strategy - he’s just another swinging dick

Saban won, Miles won and Coach all won Championships at LSU. Lane will fit in perfectly. you know it too. that's why you are scared to admit it!

I'll rather bank on LSU taking 2 former Ole Piss coaches and making them Championship winning coaches.

The number of better jobs that will still have him is pretty low.

Your drunk HC aside, there’s not many “better” CFB jobs than LSU

The pain LK is gonna cause other teams (at LSU) will be glorious

Saban is the only coach you’re going to reference and got it wrong. Sabans career wouldn’t die in Baton Rouge that’s for sure. He got everything he could’ve dream of from Miami and then realized the nfl wasn’t for him. We had Les back to back 10-2 seasons and bama needed a savior. They got lucky he was available and the rest is history

Saban's departure from LSU was dictated by Miss Terri. Not Saban's desire to go to the NFL.
