But I bet it would only take him a few seconds to figure you out.

Receipt reply’s are always the best
And given his history of prediction I’m feeling pretty good about his thoughts here.

You will only be happy if he wins 3 titles in three years? Are you very, very, very new to sports? Unrealistic expectations are insane..Do Georgia fans expect 3 straight natties from Smart? Does OSU from Day. I hope you were joking...because if not..you are in for a huge disappointment....are you new to sports?

Nick Saban knew it and bolted for the NFL, then went to Bama and not only rebuilt his career, but actually managed to reach legendary status...which he would had never accomplished at LSU.
There are probably a dozen schools out there that Saban would have had similar if not better success as what he accomplished at Bama. Saban was going to win at whatever school he coached.

I think that you need to read his post again.

How soon after Lane bolts for the NFL does the shameless pursuit of Pete Golding begin for LSU ?

6 years is as long as every coach? Maybe for lsu fans

The average tenure of a D1 CFB head coach is less than 4 years.

Why couldn’t he accomplish it at lsu?

Yeah and that includes all coaches including the ones who suck arse. For somebody that has had as many head coaching jobs as lane, and he is at least an above average coach, it is pretty embarrassing.

What schools offered him when that burned out? Guessing lsu wasn’t one of them?

Great take.
“In my opinion”. Retard.

Who are you comparing him to?

Hindsight is 20/20. When his NFL thing burned out Les Miles was the LSU coach and doing really well.

If Kiffin wants to be remembered as one of the great coaches he will have to find a spot and stick with it eventually. This is evident. For the sake of him and the state of Louisiana I hope it is LSU now. There aren’t many places you can go “up” from there.
I always figured he would try to go to bama eventually but supposedly he might be blackballed from the university. I can’t see him going to Texas either. So that cancels out 2 options.

The teams I support all had coaches for over a decade as I grew up. They all ended up staying longer than they were able to “produce” at high levels and as a result they were canned, for better or worse. I think at least one of them was absolutely a bad call.
The great coaches all had to pay their dues at a particular school, they weren’t just bouncing around constantly, once they ended up a top level program (and even if lsu is “better” I think Tennessee and even ole miss would fit the bill)
If you aren’t remembered as one of the all time great coaches then what is the next best thing? Being remembered by a university as their all time great coach, or one of them. My coaches I had in mind all pretty much fit that criteria, or they are outright the best ever.
What can lane say? Every team he has coached for now hates him as do their fanbases. And if he leaves lsu this won’t change either.
If lane is gone before 7 years then he is never going to be remembered as an all time great and maybe not even remembered by any one school. Which is sad.
