"Commanders" is the most boring generic nickname in sports. The Cleveland Indians did no better with "Guardians". Absolutely meaningless names. Its a rare opportunity for a marketing exec to rename/name a sports team from one of the big 3 leagues. And they just pissed these opportunities away. Sad...
