Thanks for all the info, honestly I don’t care if it was a lump sum. Whatever gets us to a new coach. Hate it didn’t work out but the time has come to move forward with someone else.

After Georgia, where they played hard…. Hell all year as bad as it’s been they still played hard. Last night it was “I’m done” in the players minds. They will coast the rest of the year and everyone can move on.

Exactly…. Nothing personal or hateful just needs to show he can coach first. Playing and coaching are completely different. Get experience and we will see.

I was in 107 about 6 rows up. Even my 7 yo daughter would ask why don’t they guard them. We both would slam the hat on the seat in front of us. Luckily they were empty

He’s been that way. After the LSU Bama sec tournament game (think championship) Trendon Watford and bama players were tell each other good game and chatting. It was a great game besides lsu losing and there’s Oates yelling get the F out of here. Players looked at each other and went on with their conversations. I may hate bama and that’s not hard but he makes it 100 times worse.

I just remember my dad telling the story about at halftime in 1982, looking at his friend and said “I don’t think they got a first down”. Then like clock work the PA announce said Alabama first downs zero. I remember watching the 93 game as a kid thinking we have a chance at a title. We didn’t for 10 more years.
