Nashville and Charlotte seem to work ok for their existing bowls...why would the Championship Game be any different?

Same reason they don't play Super Bowls in those places - they generally want it in a place where they know for a fact the temperature won't be 37 and rainy.

I haven't seen many games at the new stadium.
Does it have the same issues as the old Candlestick? Namely, water leaking up from the surface and causing a muddy , sloppy field and patches of fog so dense that you can't see the other side of the stadium?

Not when there is a big event at the last minute there it isn't. The 2015 flights in were a nightmare.

Arrowhead is KC - and it has the same issues as Nashville/Charlotte except worse weather wise.

St. Louis has the old RCA Dome but I don't think it's even close to up to standards for it. Location is great, just not a facility.

Yeah I meant the St. Louis/KC metro.

Didn't realize PHX to be a nightmare with big events... never had a problem before I even lived here.

Ever checked out SkipLag?

I'll be honest - I'd be much more happy playing in Denver than a place where it would be 39 degrees and rainy.

Why is the game being played in a place with such iffy weather this time of the year and in an area that cares very little for college football? If this gets played in the cold and turns into a wet mudfest someone should answer for it.

Nice new stadium, it is the city and surrounding area that makes it a cesspool. Anyone going to the game needs to stay out of the city and stay in the Monterey/Carmel area.

Houston and Dallas are both terrible choices

Why would you wish Houston on anyone?

Dallas and Houston actually have stadiums that are suitable for the game, in terms of being up to date and advanced. Nashville, while a great place, would probably need an up to date stadium.
