The Ed Jones Dome is dilapidated. So, sadly, no.

Arrowhead on the other hand....it could work.

Somewhere where it does not seem to be a home game for one of the participants. With that being said, New Orleans would be my pick as I do not see LSU getting a whiff of a NCG in the near future.

The only thing that would favor STL over KC is public transportation.

What cities would you add/subtract?

I like your list for the most part. The only thing I would change is to remove Indianapolis and add San Diego to your list. San Diego has much nicer weather, is a better tourist destination and has plenty of experience hosting postseason college football games being home to the Holiday Bowl for the last 40 years.

As people have said for ages, it's fine to do playoff games in the freezing cold in the NFL outdoors but not college games?

They don't do Super Bowl's in freezing cold weather and the CFP National Title game pretty much operates in the same way. There's no way they're playing that game in Chicago in January. They won't even play them in places like Nashville, Charlotte or Washington.

Indianapolis and Minneapolis are the 2 bets for the Midwest.

They need to. They also need to start playing in places like Chicago and NYC.

Well, that's fine, but they won't. Hell the NFL had Atlanta on double secret probation because of a random ice storm for the last decade plus. Atlanta!

I'm with you, but that's basically been shut down as an option already.

Personally, I'd love to play the playoff games home and home and then play the Championship game somewhere else. Leave the bowls around - fine - but play the semi-final at a home stadium and the Championship game in a NFL stadium wherever you choose.

Would be awesome for fans and significantly help with costs for them. But, that's not how anyone makes decisions.

Maybe if Ohio State starts making the playoffs at a rate like Bama, you will see. Alabama isn't selling their postseason tickets like they were 4 years ago

Would do a lot of things
- incredible atmospheres
- carrot to finishing #1 or #2
- travel costs for fans
- teams that feel like they always play road games in bowls get to flip the script

It'd be fantastic.

I cant stand New Orleans overall, but it should be the permanent host for Super Bowls and National Championships

Dome stadium, fantastic stadium location (dont need to rent a car), plethora of hotels, world class dining, titty bar galore, bars galore, Casino

It was just made for this

After reading all of the comments.....

The only correct answer is New Orleans.

Same for the Super Bowl and everybody knows it.

Great domed Stadium.

Walking distance to the French Quarter and finest restaurants and hotels in the country.

I could go on and on about the amenities, but just ask anybody in the industry where they would rather go.

Not likely. Alabama has more sidewalk fans than anyone. It's no surprise they can't afford to travel to multiple postseason games.

Cities I want to see the CFPNCG:

Seattle
Los Angeles
Pasadena
Santa Clara
Glendale, AZ
Arlington, TX
Houston
Minneapolis
Tampa
Miami
Toronto

Pasadena should always be a destination. It’s a great setting. It’s held the Super Bowl and several iconic CFB games.

Toronto would give our game some exposure on the Canadian side, and Toronto is a great city for that.

NO to:

New Orleans, Las Vegas, Nashville, Charlotte, San Diego, Jacksonville, Detroit, East Rutherford, Chicago, Oakland, Kansas City, Washington
