If you had to create a fair but reasonable pool of cities to host a Championship game.....

What would they be?

I'd go
- Atlanta
- New Orleans
- Miami
- Tampa
- Dallas
- Houston
- Indianapolis
- Las Vegas
- Phoenix
- Los Angeles (when the new stadium is done)

The only other one I considered was Minneapolis just to get another midwestern city on the list, but that is a long way away from basically anyone who isn't in the upper midwest.

What cities would you add/subtract?

Outside stadiums only work in SoCal and Florida - they won't be playing these games in Charlotte/Nashville/etc.

I live in Nashville so I would love to see it happen. Honestly though, the stadium needs an upgrade before hosting a national championship game.

Nah - Indianapolis is driveable for most B1G, SEC and BXII cities, is a great big sports event town and has an indoor stadium. It's also the lone Midwestern city.

Can you imagine the not yet discovered technology they could promise the committee?

is Phoenix omitted because we're trying to keep everything in the time zones of the teams and fans who actually play the games?

Phoenix is definitely an option too - the problem with Phoenix is that it is a really frickin expensive place to fly into and there really isn't much of a driving option.

All in the South/Mid West

Simple fact...most titles come from there. Vegas wouldn't be a bad add on it probably has enough interest. California outside of the Rose Bowl has no draw

Nashville and Charlotte seem to work ok for their existing bowls...why would the Championship Game be any different?

If the time zone wasn't entirely wrong and the stadium wasn't so trashy (literally trashy as in there is frequently garbage on the field) I'd add Honolulu to the list.

The Mid-Atlantic region would be nice but I'm not aware of a domed stadium there and the weather can be lousy this time of year.

San Francisco has become a shithole the last 10 years and the last thing in the world they care about is College Football. Most of the the locals look down their noses at Southerners and their traditions and now they have two fan bases that fit every stereotype the liberals have been preaching. What would make a perfect event would be to have a joint pep rally that turns into a Trump rally. The tree huggers would shite all over themselves.

I'd go
- Atlanta
- New Orleans
- Miami
- Tampa
- Dallas
- Houston
- Indianapolis
- Las Vegas X
- Los Angeles X

When the shite coast can field a team worthy of the playoff then we can discuss having championship/playoff games in the west. Until then,
