The right answer would be the 2007 Big 12 Championship Game.......but I'm tempted to say the 2013 SEC Championship Game instead. Winning the SEC in year 2 would have been wild, and we still would have played in the national championship game same as if we changed 2007.

I'd go back in time to undo your change.

Mallett was a lot better QB and would have thrown over 500 yards on that defense.

Mallett had the strongest arm in college football of his time. Wilson was a good QB but his arm was much weaker and WRs had to constantly slow down to catch his passes. Still th. rew two bad interceptions.

Arkansas had no chance of winning that game without Mallett.

A&M's first game in the SEC, I've always wondered how different that 1st game with Manziel would have been had the week's previous game not been delayed till later in the year due to a hurricane.

Before my time on this earth, but in 1984 when we lost to Navy. Apparently, that likely kept us out of the National Championship game.

For Texas it is either the 2004 OU game, 2008 Texas Tech game, 2009 NC, or semifinals last year. I'll go with the semifinals last year, that game was winnable at the end there with better execution and we get to play Michigan in the NC.

For LSU, I'd go with the either the 2005 Tennessee or SECCG game, 2006 Florida game, or the 2011 NC.

So, I'll go with 2011 NC.

1979 Sugar Bowl...JoePa calls the same play 4 downs and Bama puts up the goal-line stand for a 14-7 win and Natty.

Arkansas vs. Florida in 2006 SECCG.

If Arkansas had only competent QB play in that game and didn't waste a scholarship on Reggie Fish then Arkansas would be SEC champs.

Everyone pro AU is saying 2013 title game. This is the obvious answer. But I'll go with 1988 AU stops Hodson in Death Valley. We get to the Sugar undefeated to play undefeated ND instead of the crap game they had against West Virginia.

And maybe Mike Shula is able to recruit Tim Tebow to Tuscaloosa, though this isn't game-outcome. They do well for a few years- maybe a national title- and don't get Saban.

2012 SECC

This is an interesting one for UGA. If UGA beats bama they likely go on to beat Notre Dame and get a ring, but then Richt doesn’t get fired and Smart doesn’t end up at UGA.

I'd actually go with the 2023 SECCG.

UGA wins that and they are the 1 seed in the CFP. UGA likely plays Texas in the first round (or maybe even FSU since Texas's win over Alabama wouldn't be over a 1 loss SEC Champ Alabama) and I think Georgia drags Michigan if they get past Texas.

So that loss cost UGA a chance at Threepeating.

I just looked it up. The previous week against LSU Darren Mcfadden was y'all leading passer. 2/2 33 yards.

Arkansas began the season with Robert Johnson who was terrible and was replaced by Mitch Mustain.

He got replaced by Casey Dick who had one of the worst performances by an Arkansas QB that I have ever seen against LSU.

Arkansas ends the season on a three game losing streak.

UF vs Texas would have been fun. 2008 had some really good teams at the top 5.
Oh hell yeah, that game would have been off the charts good. Tebow vs Pistola (Colt)

Some of us have horrible memories of our team losing National Title games … others just remember losing to Arkansas.

In his defense, that loss cost them the SECW championship and a trip to Atlanta. Freeze is still pissed off at us about it.
