re: Who makes it to the elite 8

I will go one step further...

Sparty, Duke, Maryland, and Purdue in the Final 4.

Book it! :dude:
Very True...it's like when the Cubs finally won the World Series...all of a sudden people have Cubs gear from every state...lol.

Booty,

You must be living on the south side of C-bus.

I could find 20 women in Dublin, Worthington, Westerville, New Albany, and Olentangy that are prettier than that link you shared.

Your Golden Girls are nothing more than a younger version of the TV Show of those old ladies...The Golden Girls.

Now Alabama and Georgia are states that are full of beautiful women...Louisiana women look like they wrestle the Gators in the Swamp.
B1G and SEC are joined at the hip plus the state of Texas.

Has it become the Triple A league for the NFL...yes.

But we will still watch and enjoy because we love college football.

Has it changed from when we first fell in love with it...yes

Hell, I am old enough to remember when every kick off was at 1:00 on a Saturday and no stadium had lights...before you add a comment...yes we had cars back then...lol.

But no one conference owns college football it will always be the B1G and SEC who absorb everyone else into their confrences.
It would be hilarious if Michigan held a parade in Ann Arbor as Back to Back National Champs since they pulled the upset of the Century over this NFL team from C-bus. :rotflmao:
As the name states...alum of PSU '71
Allen's daughters live in the Carolina's and his son is moving on to Clemson as an analyst.

Easy decision for Allen to be closer to family...plus I was told his wife never made the move with him to State College.

I will agree to that...there was a lot of noise around the campus and community about something being wrong with Sandusky and his Foundation/Non-profit.

JoePa should have done more to stop the absolute nightmare.

With all of Georgia's issues off the field...Is this another t-shirt game?

As a Penn State Alum, I can honestly say we are not a top 5 team.

We were down to Bowling Green in the 2nd half at our place!!

We blew a game against OSU that we should have won by 14 points.

We struggled at Minnesota against a team that is more physical but has much less talent than we do.

Plus we have James Franklin...

re: Worse coach: Kiffin or DeBoer

Kiffin by a mile...

DeBoer built a great offense at Indiana and was in the Championship game last year at Washington. Saban left because he didn't like NIL but he also knew the cupboard was half-bare.
I love watching all of them but if I had to choose one it would be A&M vs UT.

This game has been gone too long and I look forward to it on Saturday.

Will Buckl Cry?

Posted by NitsFan71 on 11/25/24 at 1:32 pm
Let me preface what I am about to say by saying that as a Penn State fan...I could care less about the OSU/UM game.

I am also an honest and realistic Penn State fan...we aren't a playoff team and our schedule has been a$$ as well.

Will Buckl cry if/when UM beats the all-mighty boughten team this weekend?
Thanks to the Portal there isn't one elite team in any conference this year. Schedules weren't rigged...no one expected Michigan and Washington to be this AVERAGE. USC was supposed to be much better than they are but they do have that one quality win over LSU...LOL.

As a Penn State fan I am the first to admit our schedule is cake but we are not a playoff team...we are small and weak on the OL and DL and QB is inconsistent. Throw in James Franklin and you never know what you will get each Saturday.

But to be honest...the SEC isn't any better than the Big 10 this year...who's the elite team? Georgia who lost to an average Bama? Texas who got boat raced at home by Georgia? LSU who lost to a bad USC team? A&M who lost to ND who lost to Northern illinois? Rocky Top who lost to an average Arkansas team?

re: Hoping for Honest Answers

Things always look worse after a loss. I don't know that Ewers was the whole problem the other night...Georgia has made quite a few good QB's look normal.

Ewers is probably the most talented of an average group of QB's right now. So that may be why everyone considered him elite...because I heard it also. Texas looked fantastic against a bad Michigan team, the whole Big 10 is down this year, The true test of how good Ewers is will be how he responds to adversity because that is where the elite QB's step up.

re: 10/19 TV Ratings - Over or Under

Over.

Ohio State and Penn State are off this week as well as Oregon playing Friday night means Big 10 fans like myself will be watching the SEC.

Spoiler Alert...I watch all conferences good games...lol.
LOL...I know most people only think of football, basketball, and baseball on here but both Conferences have their specialties partly due to the climates they are in...

BIG and SEC are both strong in football with an edge to the SEC
BIG/SEC are both good in basketball with an edge to the SEC
SEC owns Baseball...SEC has 35 games in before BIG campus get a warm day...lol
SEC owns Track also
BIG owns Wrestling
BIG tough in Men's Ice Hockey
BIG tough in Fencing
BIG/SEC both great in Swimming and Diving
