B1G is looking good though.

How's Penn St & Michigan doing this year?

Buckwheat, those results just point to how much better the SEC is top to bottom than the Big 10. And other than Ohio State, I’m not sure you guys have any elite teams. Indiana is scared to schedule any team of substance so I have no idea if they are any good.

That called depth in the conference. Big 10 wouldn't know what that means.

Lol, you chose the wrong season to make a thread sucking yourself off. We shut down your superman Jeremiah Smith in the second half and sent you on your way with an L.

So you think the SEC is overrated despite Ohio State being 0-1 vs SEC. Your argument is that the SEC teams beat each other. No one else is knocking off SEC teams. SEC has 10-2 out of conference record vs power 4 opponents. Big 10 has 4-10 record against power 4

Edit: one of those teams was Arkansas losing to Utah and the other was Oklahoma to Michigan. So 2 of our bottom 6 teams

5-7 is a better record than 6-10.

I know it's graduate level math, but it really is true.

This tells the story. By far the best this season, SEC
The worst, BIG

I think Texas, Georgia, and Alabama are legit

I think it's the tier down that looks suspect and has to sort itself out.

How truly good is Florida? Ole Miss? LSU? I don't think we know enough about these teams, but that's why we play the games

Let’s have both conferences break off and start their own thing. Let’s quit with the charade of ncaa non-professional spirts

The SEC no longer plays defense. That’s the difference. Look at the other thread about defensive rankings. Defense was always the calling card of the SEC. Teams could barely get in the red zone against Bama and UGA in the past. Now, it’s whoever scores 35 first wins.

When the weather turns cold and games get magnified in the playoffs defense always shows up and a lot of times we’ve seen the high flying offenses fizzle. I still believe UGA is the SEC’s best chance in the playoffs even though I think Bama beats them next weekend. Kirby will take a loss and get better throughout the season.

Big ten blows. Having the best team, minus Michigan cheating, doesnt mean your conference is better by any means.

I just put it in order that Google did. BIG is actually 4-10 against power 4 conferences but edited to 4-11 bc UM was gifted a win against a G5 team

OSU is by far the best team in the B1G, and they lost to the 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC.
