It isn’t Manning holding back the Texas offense, it’s the playcaller. Texas’ offense is lights out in 2 very specific game situations:
-scripted plays at beginning of half
-when the game situation necessitates opening things up and Manning is allowed to just play
It’s been same going back to last season. Sark seems to be trying to force Manning to play into his system.. meanwhile opposing defenses seem to be predicting Sarkisian’s tendencies at a high rate... Not sure it’s really THAT hard to do when… for example, you literally run the same first play in every single game
I would never bet against my own team but I wouldn’t disparage anyone taking the money against Texas right now. They look very much like they did last season

The smarter LSU posters need to police the dumber portion of their fanbase. Bc I for one do not believe the LSU fanbase can be this stupid. The ratio of quality posting to mind-numbing dumbness is way to large for any fanbase, let alone a program that actually (should) know what “acting like you’ve been there before” means…

Biggest game of your season and biggest game for LSU in years… and not even close to the highest rated game for the year in WEEK 3 of the season. Doesn’t sound like a “money-maker” sounds like you’re living in your own world, and the rest of us don’t really care that much.

Texas defense will be elite but vulnerable in places atm
Tennessee will build a multi score lead at some point. Can they withstand the Texas offense once it’s let loose to play will be the question

There is a disconnect btwn play calling and talent on hand
There is a disconnect btwn qb and receivers
Defense has all-world potential but is still not fully rounded to form
I fully expect Texas to have a tight game in Knoxville. I fully expect Texas to have a come from behind type of game.. probably will get down several scores. This squad has ability to get back in any game… can they do it we will see
