College basketball is so damned dirty ... Anyone involved in the trial is going down, unless they decide to commit perjury. Then they go to jail

The case is weird. The Feds are charging these runners with defrauding the universities. It’s absurd.

But the universities will go along with the charade. Because the alternative is admitting they’re dirty.

You weren’t defrauded with Sampson, Martin or Quarterman.

None of those players were recruited by Wade.

I'm not trying to flame or anything, and I know college basketball as a whole is dirty as hell, but how do you get caught on phone talking about recruiting violations? I thought most coaches let the machine roll without direct involvement?

I've never been happier to have a roster full of sub Top 150 players in my life more than I am right now.

Looks like some idiot head coaches failed to use buffers.

You have to let the system work itself out, and put enough layers between you and the target so that you don't get mixed up in the dirty shite, i.e. caught on a Federal wiretap, WTF? How do you let that happen?

Wade wasn't discussing violations. He was discussing getting the kid what he needed, which includes access to our great facilities, a meal plan specified to the athlete, and a world class education.

It's one of the reasons for the giant AAU circuit. Those AAU locations allow coaches to handle their business away from campus and prying eyes

Exactly, there are enough middlemen in place to insulate the head man.

Any HC that exposes himself (via phone calls/emails/texts) to the core of inner workings is an idiot, JMO.

And no team is more vested in LSU going down than UK. I wonder why that is?

And if Wade and LSU have anything to worry about, UK and Cal must be sweating like whores in church. Glass houses and all...
