Judging by this coaching search - you are the most delusional fanbase in the country. A huge chunk of your fan base, evidenced by many on this board, would be thrilled to hire Heupel. You were never going to pull a sitting head coach from Tennessee during a normal hiring cycle. Now that your AD is in dissaray & you're the biggest dumpster fire in college football from a State, University and Administrative perspective - those chances are even lower.

The entire sports world & country is laughing at how inept you look.

but don’t want us to get a guy like Heupel.

You don't have to worry about that. There's 0% chance Heupel is leaving Tennessee for LSU

It's effectively the same offense. Lebby and Golesh were both OCs under Heupel @ UCF & UT and you can see it in all of their play calling. It's Art Briles' offense with their own nuances baked into it
Anyone remember this clip from a couple years ago where this Japanese hiker was attacked and he ended up throwing some hammer fists directly to the snout and landed a kick to the face?

Key was a 4 year starter on the OL and loves his Alma mater. He's not going anywhere

Blending in like chameleons

How you shite the bed in that environment is beyond me. Neyland & that atmosphere was incredible
I found this way funnier than expected. I knew I was in for a ride after the first sentence

Louisiana as a state, The LSU Athletic Dept, University leadership & State leadership all smiling in one fitting photo:

Not really. Heupel is 7-13 against ranked opponents (35%). Kiffin at Ole Miss is 8-18 (44%). That’s a sizable gap.

Heupel has 7 wins out of 20 tries.
Kiffin has 8 wins out of 26 tries. One more win than Heupel with 6 more games played.

That's a sizable gap?

Keep telling yourself that Heupel is desirable

LSU Fan:

quote:

He has destroyed us in games, kept it very close with Georgia and Bama games, and is a past QB who knows how to run an offense. I want this guy as head coachhfor LSU. Not the clown from Ole Miss that stays on social media like my kids.

Georgia fan:

quote:

Heupel has had Georgia and Alabama on the schedule every season he's been there. Heupel is 28-5 at home and 3 of the losses were against Georgia. In the last 4 years, he is 2-6 against Georgia and Alabama and 36-5 against everybody else. That's incredibly strong.

LSU is more desirable of a job than TN end of story

The chances of LSU poaching a sitting head coach from Tennessee is less than 0 short of them being LSU alumni.

Because you have zero chance of pulling him. He's not leaving Tennessee for anywhere other than potentially his Alma mater.
