re: Conservatism doesn’t always equal Christianity - TRUERockyTop
Well said. I've had this thought many times, but haven't been able to articulate it quite as well as you have. ...
Leftists like you have cultivated an environment of laziness and entitlement. Then you reward the behavior through expanded social programs. Now you’re surprised when people that come from actual oppression and poor living conditions value the opportunity that America provides more than yo...

re: Big Kat Bryant can choose either Tennessee or UCF - TRUERockyTop
Karma for what exactly? He committed to play for Jeremy Pruitt and Shelton Felton 2 days before the entire staff was fired. Play for a staff that you're unfamiliar with or transfer down a level to play Sunbelt level teams with a guy whose coached you for several years? It's a business decision. ...

re: Advice needed: Daily protein intake without using protein powder - TRUERockyTop
Dude, cheese is like 6-9 grams per ounce.
I just checked the packaging and the cheddar block that we buy is 6g per 1 oz. The block is 10 oz total and it's probably fair to say I'm eating 1 oz per snack. Thank you for this. There's a few more grams that I was consuming, but not list...
You haven't worked out in a year, are already 210 lbs and want to gain 15 more? I could be wrong, but it doesn't sound like you need to be gaining weight for sure, and it probably would be beneficial to you to lose some.
I'm close to 75 days in with my work out routine after bei...

Thank you. It doesn't have to be perfect, but I'm glad to hear that I'm on the right track. I'll continue to play around with it as I get more feedback from my body....
Any reason you can't mix in a few egg whites with your eggs? And is your cheese really 0g of protein? Also I think that usually it's 1g/lb of LEAN body weight, so you're probably getting enough protein.
Thank you. I'll look into the egg whites. I'm not sure on the cheese as i...

re: Advice needed: Daily protein intake without using protein powder - TRUERockyTop
Thank you. I've just recently started back in the gym since around Christmas for the first time since Covid started. Before the recent episode with my G.I tract I had been getting over the 1g of protein per lb of body weight with adding in protein powder. The drop to around 195g per day is quite a b...

re: Advice needed: Daily protein intake without using protein powder - TRUERockyTop
I'd like to come back to supplementing in some form of protein powder, but at my doctors recommendation I'm going to try and get most of it from food sources for some time. I'll probably end up experimenting with some that is lactose free down the road....

Advice needed: Daily protein intake without using protein powder - TRUERockyTop
I recently found out that I'm unable to take any more whey protein, concentrate or isolate, to supement the amount of daily protein I'm getting due to some G.I issues that I have. In particular diverticulitis -- I had to have 9 inches of my large intestine removed in 2019. Unfortunately the dietary ...

re: Will Tennessee ever Recover? - TRUERockyTop
That's the point - It's a numbers game. You have 1 quarterback on campus in Bazelak that can throw beyond 10 yards unless Robinson did a 180. We have Bailey, Salters, Mauer, and the VT transfer all competing for the starting spot as it is. The 2 with the most potential of that group are a Sophmore a...

re: Will Tennessee ever Recover? - TRUERockyTop
 They've lost 2 in a row to Tennessee teams coached by a guy who wasn't aware of what Asparagus was. That mixed in with VOLS routinely throttling them on the hardwood (3-7 in the last 10) since joining makes for threads like these. Sad really ...

re: Will Tennessee ever Recover? - TRUERockyTop
Weird troll. QB is one of the few position groups in Knoxville with a loaded cupboard. Anybody seeking playing time wasn't going to come in with Harrison Bailey as a Sophomore, Kaidon Salter as a True Freshman and the kid from Virginia Tech that just transferred in....

re: The Top 4 Growing Metros In The US: DFW, Houston, Phoenix, Atlanta - TRUERockyTop
The more society continues to trend in a negative direction, the more I can't wait to buy a piece of land far away from it all and do the exact opposite. Hell, even Knox County TN approaching 500k people is getting to big for me. I want a place in the Mountains where I can grow a garden, shoot m...

It's not applicable to every situation, but I'd show them the door if it's a constant. At some point enough is enough. ...
