Seriously. Which of these schools really gives a fvck about what LSU is paying Lane and Brian? I'll take my answer off the air.

Call me crazy but going to a game between two rivals that we hate, neither of which has been very good lately, instead of attending (or even watching on TV) the team you actually pull for sounds kinda nuts.

I'll have to wait for game times but it's really not that deep. I live near Tech, have nothing against them, and usually look at their schedule because they have one or two decent home games a year that might align with a bye week. This year it's Tennessee the same weekend we have Western Kentucky (pretty much a bye).

It can actually be fun. It's not like i'm considering going to watch Florida v. Tennessee. That's hell on earth.

The Sept. 12 Tennessee at Georgia Tech is more interesting than our matchup that day. I might head over to Bobby Dodd for that one.

Georgia/Florida in Atlanta is just weird and odd and I'm already getting a bad feeling about it.

AJ Green never got a thousand yards? That's insane considering he has Stafford.

His highest was 964 in 2008.

did AJ Green never have a 1000 yard season?

Came close his freshman year, but no.
It's a shame that in 2002 Terrance Edwards had 1,000 yards, but his legacy will always be the dropped pass at the Cocktail Party

Didn't you hear? Your baw Trump is going to end NIL. Even had a whole summit on it with Nick Saban

In 1963 after becoming the Bulldogs’ Head Football Coach, Vince Dooley redesigned the football uniform, choosing a red helmet with a black “G” on a white background as the dominant feature of the new uniform for the 1964 season.

He discussed with his staff that a forward-looking “G” would be an appropriate emblem for the helmet of the Georgia team. Dooley had just hired John Donaldson, former Georgia player from 1945 to 1948, as backfield coach. Donaldson was keen on the idea of a new image and volunteered his wife, Anne, who had a BFA in commercial art from UGA, to design a logo for the new Georgia helmet with the general specifications Dooley had outlined. Dooley accepted Anne’s original “G” which fit his vision for a forward look to Georgia’s new emblem.

Since the Georgia “G”, though different in design and color, was similar to Green Bay’s “G”, Coach Dooley thought it best to clear the use of Georgia’s new emblem with the NFL team. Athletic Director Joel Eaves called for permission, which was granted. However, since its inception in 1961, the Green Bay “G” has been redesigned several times and now looks like Georgia’s original 1964 “G.”

Redesign: to revise in appearance, function, or content. (Merriam-Webster)

The article clearly states that Green Bay redesigned its "G" several times after its 1961 inception and it now looks more like Georgia's 1964. Although other aspects of the helmet may have changed, the 1964 Georgia "G" has has not. So, Green Bay changed its G and it now resembles Georgia's. Not that difficult of a concept to understand.
Reading is fundamental...

"However, since its inception in 1961, the Green Bay “G” has been redesigned several times and now looks like Georgia’s original 1964 “G.” Georgia is proud that the Packers apparently liked the special nuances of the Bulldogs’ forward-looking “G”."

:uga:
It's the other way around, Green Bay's (and likely Grambling) is basically like Georgia's :uga:

Not mad at all. Just turn the attention to MLS and ATP, frankly

They should just let the football players drive recklessly?

No. They should issue citations like normal cops. I've practiced criminal defense law all over the State of Georgia and Athens-Clarke County seems to have the only police department hell bent on arresting people for speeding/reckless driving. Everywhere else, offenders end up with points on their license, a hefty fine (plus court costs), and mandatory defensive driving classes -- not a mugshot.
Georgia sitting at #6 is kind of pathetic for us. I miss Suzanne Yoculan who notched 16 SEC Championships and 10 National Championships (the most of any NCAA school) including 5 straight between 2005 and 2009. We need to step it up.

Absolutely the dumbest move by any school by a country mile. I mean, do they even play lacrosse in the Big Ten

Better pay but relegated themselves to permanent irrelevance in all sports in my opinion.
