Absolutely the dumbest move by any school by a country mile. I mean, do they even play lacrosse in the Big Ten

Better pay but relegated themselves to permanent irrelevance in all sports in my opinion.

I grew up in BR Louisiana

So, I dated someone who is from Bunkie, Louisiana. Been there a few times. It's where I was introduced to boudin. I've had all types. Crawfish boudin is the my favorite. I'm reluctant to try blood boudin.

My dad was military (retired now). He was stationed at Ft. Meade when I was very young. Parents divorced and he jetted off to Ft. Ord/Seaside, California. Mom moved us to Crownsville. Always joke with her that she was looking for a Navy man  Definately a nice place to grow up looking back.

The Blue Point oysters are delicious and beat anything out of the Chesapeake or the gulf (in my opinion). I highly recommend you try them.

I want to do this. Thinking about a trip to Maine this summer because I've never been and want to try fresh Maine lobster. There or Rhode Island.

Cal or Standford..just because and they don't care about football anyway

So why not just let 'em be. They're over in the Bay Area not bothering anybody. Notre Dame on the other hand....

Great Public Education

The best seafood in the country comes out of the Chesapeake Bay. It's the largest brackish body of water in the United States

You live in a not so great part of Maryland.....but hey, at least it's not PG county or Baltimore city though.
.

I grew up in Crownsville. Georgia Law grad and live in Atlanta now. But you are right, happy to have avoided PG County and Baltimore City (for the most part).

Anne Arundel County is cool. Annapolis, Naval Academy, Arlington Echo camping, Chesapeake Bay right there. Get home from school and takethe canoe out. Definitely unique and good. No complaints.

I guess it's because they didn't include D.C.

The DC with Georgetown and George Washington Universities, gyms on every corner, and smoking bans in every public space? And also next door to my home state #8 Maryland...

Can tell that you don't get around much

Pistolero worry about UGA and that boring horrible to watch offense. Every time I see UGAs offense I think of Les Miles.

That "boring horrible to watch offense" put 43 on your coach last October, Swamp Gump .,,,and an SEC Championship

Miss living there, but only 1h 30ish minute flight from Atlanta.

Does anyone else just see Union v. Confederates?

And good god, I'm glad my home state is Maryland.
Why would Georgia be be scared? You're not on our schedule and we throttled you last time we played. Would you like a reminder?

Who are your four losses? I see six toss-ups. Five really when you factor in that you travel to Tennessee late in the season when they have usually given up on themselves. I think you beat Ole Miss and Auburn. You could realistically have two.

We Should All Be Happy For LSU...

Hear me out....

They haven't done shite in football since 2019 but hire Brian Kelly, lose games, fire Brian Kelly, then hire the guy who was fired on a tarmac in Los Angeles after losing to Arizona State.

Most don't pay attention to the portal, but they do because -- they have nothing else. Don't be mad at them. Treat them like a toddler who has a new toy and be be happy for them. "Do you like your new toy little buddy? Yes you do!"

Finally, the great state of Louisiana has nothing going on but Shreveport, swamps, drive-thru daiquirias, and I-10 out of there. They have nothing to do but stalk teenagers. Even Lane figured that out pretty quickly. The point is they have nothing else at the moment, so let them have this and be happy for them (looking at you Ole Miss and aTm)

Cheers
