re: Who did OKC fans root for

Post-Shaq, a LOT of people hated Kobe's playing style. Then everyone loved him once the SuperTeam Heat took over.
Once the sun sets on the Thunder's run, plenty of people will change the tune on SGA. It's like clockwork. Hell, look at Tom Brady. Most HATED the Pats yet now love Brady.
This isn't anything new.
I would say that most people would be "meh" on SGA. But we are prisoners of the moment (goes without saying), so everything TODAY is the GOAT or WOAT. Fans of good teams act obnoxious and OKC fans are no different from Heat/Warriors/Lakers/Celtics fans. But whatever, it's an activity on which I have no impact, nor does it impact my life, since I do not gamble.

Yup, you're definitely on the Spectrum. My team is out, so I really do not care; I just find your behavior here amusing. I do not need to "cope" with an activity that I have no involvement in. But again, my entire self-worth is not completely tied to a team winning or losing.

I remember when I was younger those lottos or McDonald’s monopoly games that paid out $1M. Huge buzz about it and people dreaming of winning and quitting their jobs and retire if they won. then come to find out that $1M prize is paid out in 20 annual installments of $50k and you’re getting taxed on it too.
Hardly life changing money anymore!
No, but if you're good with money, it's a huge headstart. Back then, you could have multiple investment properties by the end of 20 years, making 3-5K in passive income per month. If I got that at 22, I would be easily able to retire by 45-50. As it is, I will be 55-60, but I am considering working until I get medicare at 65 (30 years from now).

My net worth is roughly $1.5Mil. $1M in retirement, $500k in my home. So technically I am, but neither of those can be easily accessed today.
We still live like we’re poor, shop at Walmart, drive 2 10+ year old cars. My neighbors travel and spend like there’s no tomorrow. Completely different lifestyles, they think we’re the poor ones. And they’re kind of right until we retire.
I would never disclose my Net Worth online (I will always say that I am "not a millionaire" regardless, because I am not rich). I still have 20-25 years in the workforce, then I will be more than fine. I would wager that the actual average net worth is less than $1 million here, but people would claim to be worth an average of $3 Million+ here.

In terms of quality of life the millionaires have way more in common with billionaires than people who earn a mere 6 figure living.
My brother is technically a millionaire with his portion of the business that he's a partner of, and his house appreciating like crazy. He is not rich by any means. He drives a 2013 Honda Pilot, and a 2014 Honda Odyssey. His wife works as a real estate agent (and made bank during the COVID years) and is a secretary at the private school, so they get free tuition for their children.
I am not a millionaire, but I am not poor; we have similar spending power.

Unless you're claustrophobic it's no big deal; you just lay there (I assume you will not be standing) while you are partially in a large tube. You will hear some loud noises, but it's fairly quick and painless.
But do heed all safety precautions, or it could become a VERY BIG DEAL

To stabilize it will take regulating and restricting social media (and banning shite like OF and prediction markets) like the chicoms are doing, but that puts us in an existential conundrum with our beliefs as a country.
But we already gave away our freedoms for airport pat downs and warrantless surveillance, so who knows what else we'll be willing to let the government do. I guess whatever social media algorithms tell us to do.
COVID lockdowns are a prime example of a) how people are quick to obey without questioning, and b) how fast it can come
Fortunately, here in America, we are not yet at the stage where the Government can completely lock us down like China/North Korea. You can go from suggestion (you should), to shaming (you're evil if), to fear, to coercion (you're going to prison, if). We have not yet reached Coercion stage, and when we do, it will get ugly. The Mark of the Beast will be the ultimate coercion.

No need to add "in 2026". People do not like questions that require more thought than a what's required of a third grader. Critical thinking is a skill which most people lack.
1-0 at any point
3-2 as final scores (my guess, although 4-3 might be up there).

Keyboard Warrior saying stuff they would not say in person. Typical internet. Most people hate Shai and his playing style. OKC has no bandwagon fans because they are winning. Literally, your resident Superfan said he rooted for the Bulls and Mavs before OKC was good. I went to an OKC game in 2021, and there were more Warrior fans than OKC fans. But OKC has no bandwagon fans, sure.
Oklahoma City fans think they're some special group, but in reality, they're no different from any other fanbase.

Remember…LeBron is the all time leader in 25/5/5 games in the playoffs. But no one gives a shite about that kind of stats after getting swept.
Lebron can put up stats for days; putting up stats in the NBA is fairly easy. But he does not impact winning like he used to. That's the difference. Statistically, he's almost as good as he was in his prime, but he's just a very good player, and not at GOAT level anymore. He also plays little to no defense anymore.

The fans did? A sweep was expected, and the fans had nothing to do with the outcome of the game. Their favorite team dominated your favorite team, nothing more, nothing less.

Are you legit special needs? Your favorite team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, did what they were supposed to do, and that's beat a team that is short-handed, and no, Luka and Williams are not the same. You average about 20 posts per day since you started here. There's more to life than the OKC Thunder and this message board.

Actually a very useful thing, if you have to share and explain certain information.
I ask this everyday. Even when I present to the board, there's always someone remote.

Yup. Most people are sheep and lack critical thinking skills. I told people at work that it was manmade, and they all thought I was crazy. This is how we become North Korea, one useful idiot at a time.

I would say more autistic, but hey, if the success of his favorite teams are what makes his self-esteem, by all means. 31 year old Lebron could carry his team to victory. 41 year old Lebron can put up numbers and do some nice things, but he cannot carry a team anymore. GOAT, though.

then at Cleveland.
The Jake is nice; I sat where the Drummer, John Adams was in the left field bleachers, but unfortunately, that was under the big screen (people were pounding the wall like the drummer). I actually prefer to be higher up (first few rows - upper level is ideal) since I like to see everything. I might come back for another one this year, and I'll sit in right field next time. I typically park at Tower City Plaza, which is right below the Arena; there's a walkway to the Arena, and the ballpark. The Hope Memorial Bridge is cool (right off Ontario near the ballpark). Have fun at the INDIANS game.
