They may well be stuck with Riley for now. Faulkner is going to be a great hire for somebody but can’t imagine him at USC.

Brought that up on coaching search board. I highly doubt it would happen, but DeBoer to USCw would start a fun filled shitshow of coaching moves, raises, and speculation.
His former AD at Udub that hired him is the AD at USCw, and it puts him on the west coast in a huge market playing against BIG 10 competition. He could make worse personal decisions if the $$$ were right.

Lane has no chance of returning to USC. If the Trojans cough up the $70 mil to get rid of Riley, my guess is that they go with a defensive minded coach. Glenn Schumann, despite his lack of head coaching experience, might be worth the risk. He's worked under a couple of guys that set good examples for him.

Never say never but between Riley’s and Deboers buyout that’s like 150 million just for that. In today’s world though I wouldn’t rule it out.

One thing USC has is a metric shite ton of money. I don’t think money will stop them from doing anything.

When you're that rich you're probably not as worried about it if you prefer the Cali lifestyle. If I were filthy rich rural Cali would be towards the top of my list for places I'd want to live. Couldn't do the cities, though.
