I don’t know if they’re corrupt but I know every time I walk into one it’s a $500 bill for a new pair of glasses so I guess it wouldn’t surprise me
I used to love that place. Used to get the hamburger steak. Really good. My wife and I watched the LSU @ Auburn game where Les Miles clock management lost the game to Gus Bus probably costing Miles his job and saving Gus Bus's job for awhile. Lot of good memories in that place.
Land deals you gotta put them in writing.

Mormonism’s 200 year attempt to ease its way quietly under the great umbrella of the Christian Church, an attempt that has become much more vigorous in the last two decades as American Christians have become, on the whole, more ignorant of Church theology and history, which coincides with the decline of mainstream Protestantism and the rise of emotional Protestantism, reminds me of ULL insisting ESPN call it the University of Louisiana or Louisiana. After further consideration, ULL is closer to being the University of Louisiana than Mormonism is to being a branch of the Church.

TulaneLSU is like the Michelangelo of message board poasting. PHD dissertations will be written on the corpus of TulaneLSU postings. But this post, this work of art, is truly his sistene chapel. In 500 years men will weep in awe at the effortless genius of this post.

Congratulations on your amazing accomplishments!
Bob Dylan is like 90 years old and still performing. It’s insane. I agree with you that it’s cringey as frick but I mean if you could go out there and make millions of dollars doing what you love at that age wouldn’t you do it too? I would! Don’t blame the artists blame the people buying the tickets to go watch these freak shows!

Of course it does. If a beneficiary has already passed, the probate court will rework the entire distribution scheme if necessary.

Similarly, if a prior spouse, now divorced, was listed as the beneficiary of a bequest and a subsequently revised will says otherwise, the divorced spouse is cut out. Same with pretermitted heirs and so on.

If a lawyer told you this, they malpracticed. If you're a lawyer, then that is really scary. Your understanding of how this works is literally the opposite of how it actually works.

Keep in mind your trust and will papers will trump the beneficiary designations in your insurance contracts.

Don’t think this is true man. I think it is the opposite.
1-2-3 punch outs. Kyle Schwarber went down swinging. Hope they start putting him in at closer more.

Off topic but just so everyone is aware former LSU ace Grant Taylor is on the bump for the White Sox in the bottom of the ninth trying to ice a 6-3 Sox victory at the Phillies and be is straight dealing.

A worker is all you’ll ever be

You think getting a little tchotchke from the boss makes a person more than a worker? Give me a break.

I got a Rolex at 10 years at my last company. I didn't make it 20, but for that they give you a month off and $20,000, or at least they used to.
That is incredible I had no idea places still did stuff like this. What line of work if you don’t mind me asking? I’m jealous tbh.
Yea when you devalue the shite out of the currency that tends to happen.
Big waste of money and everyone’s time to do something like this. If you need validation that badly that you want something like this you need therapy worse than the job. Granted it was a cool thing back in the day when they’d give you like a nice watch after 30 years or something. But those days are long gone. I work you give me money that’s the employer employee relationship as it should be.

$375 a month for a $50k policy is a terrible freaking value. You got hosed. You could have been putting that in a damn shoe box for the past 26 years and have $117k. Over half a mill if you would have invested.

Yea I assumed that was a typo and he meant $500K. If it’s a $50K policy, hoo boy.
I’ve got a term life policy that’ll pay out $300K or so to my wife if I die before I’m 65 or so. It’s just there if I die before I have significantly more in my 401k to pay out to her. Most life insurance these days is basically a scam.
Well I mean you did look at the butts did you not?
