I think it would be the 1 job he leaves Bama for (maybe Oregon). Less expectations, and I think his style of football fits there more.
That being said, when teams fire coaches they tend to do a 180 in the style of coach they hire next. Since Lincoln is a offense guy, my guess is they would look for a defensive guy.

They would have to pay him 35% more just to break even with California Taxes and cost-of-living. But if he wants to go, I wouldn't want him to stay

DeBoer is much too smart to do that, but remind me how your coach did at USC. How did he even get home after they fired him on the tarmac and wouldn't let him on the team plane?
