We had Mona Gomaa as our private guide for a few days in Cairo and she was fantastic. We toured in 2019 with her and we still remain in touch with her. Our plan is to return now that the new museum is open and we will use her services again.

Been thinking about trying Oceania, where do they fall on the luxury scale?

Oceania is my favorite cruise line. Small ships, great food and quiet atmosphere. Booked on a Colon to Los Angeles Panama Canal cruise next week and then in March 2026 doing 120 days around the world on Oceania - San Diego to Miami.

BS……all in for Charlie Weiss Sr or Mark Mangino. We want a coach that looks like us
Why not Brian Kelly? He would be with his NE US people and go back to using his original accent.
Is WAFB also announcing we are going to The Rose Bowl?

Retiring baw?

LanierSpots.......I am calling it a career. I laugh thinking back to those 48 hour residency days at Big Charity in the Trauma room wondering if I would ever reach the point when I would say "Enough". It has been fun and rewarding and I'd it all over again if given the opportunity to repeat it.
I'm an old timer who over the years have learned the three teams LSU should NEVER lose to:

Vanderbilt
Ole Miss
Tulane

Never an excuse to lose to any of these three teams unless the other team has caught lightening in a bottle like Archie Manning.

Even after the loss to Vanderbilt, I felt there was a "chance" of turning this thing around. But, last night was just abysmal. The idea of A&M fans moving to the LSU student section and carrying on without anyone confronting them and starting a battle like was seen is years past between Tigers fans against other fanbases made me realize it is over.

I really have no reason or excuse to complain as I gave up my tickets after the 2020 season and saving myself over $20k a year. The last two games were the only ones I watched this season and it was sickening, especially last night. I forced myself to watch until the end as I was convinced A&M would reach 63 points.

So, I'm in the mindset I was supporting Coach Kelly until the game last night. Where does LSU go from here? I really do not have a clue but it is the lowest point in my life as a fan since sitting in 8 degree weather in 1992 watching Arkansas beat us 30-6.

What a weekend

LSU got crushed
I picked the Falcons and their beating at home rivals LSU fiasco last night.

The good news is tomorrow is the last day of my career.

I had the Broncos as my survivor pick

Pretty much all of this. Princess is my regular line, but I'm considering Oceania or Seabourne.

In my opinion you cannot go wrong with Seabourn or Oceania for an excellent cruise experience

Don't wish for that, it will mean that you are old and crappy
Just kidding, I hope that you get to do whatever you want when you reach my age

Nice! Wifey and I are leaving for 5 weeks to Iguazu, Buenos Aires, 18 day Swan Hellenic Antarctica Cruise to S. Georgia, Falklands, and the Peninsula, and then back to land to a few places throughout Patagonia.

That will be an amazing cruise. Swan Hellenic is top notch!!! Enjoy yourself on this journey, it should be awesome

I wouldn't mind going on an Antarctic cruise.

Just doing a drive by for four days I think it is. Not going on one of the expedition cruises. I'm too old to get in a zodiac in freezing waters and climb out to walk on ice and snow in ankle deep penguin shite

Which cruise lines are these?

Oceania - Panama Canal
Holland America - South America/Antarctica
Caribbean with kids/grandkids - Royal Caribbean
Oceania - World Cruise
Regent - Norway/Arctic Circle
I’m not big on LSU this season but I believe the defense handles the Vanderbilt quarterback like a few years back the defense handled Manziel. Yes I know two different quarterbacks and two different defenses but I see same results.

I just looked at the price tag and itinerary for that on Oceania… holy shite.. well done sir

Thank you.......Oceania is my favorite cruise line. Small ships, just a bunch of old farts like me and the ship basically shuts down around 9pm
