I agree ATM will make a lot of secondary's look like shite. However, I think there are schemes that limit the damage. Bama pretty much stayed in man and got burned.

I think so too. I know I wouldn't want to have only a week to prepare for them. Give Saban a month however and I think it would be a hell of a game.

You have to pretty much pick your poison with aTm. You can blitz and stunt to force Manziel to run which is dangerous or you can try to contain him in the pocket and let him throw which is more dangerous. I don't know if it would have made a difference whether Bama played man or zone when all Manziel has to do is throw the ball four feet over the db's head.

I think Clinton-Dix & Sunseri would disagree with you. Had you said "there is nothing special about Bama's corners" then I would agree.
Once Belue went out in that game and Bama had their 2nd best corner on Evans (their best WR) and the 3rd best corner on A&M's 2nd best WR, you kinda had to know that A&M would take advantage of the situation. That's just good coaching.

I put up with his b.s. last time we played 'Bama. But this time around it was far and away the most homerism I have ever heard.

Alabama doesn't look anywhere near as good as last year, at this point. The defense is bad, the OL is bad. Those are the two biggest staples of Saban's teams. Had A&M had even an average defense that game would have been a blowout.
Luckily for Alabama, they don't play a decent team from the East this year. So, it's up to LSU and Auburn to stop their reign of terror.
