Finebaum said Committee may leave out Bama, Ole Miss and USCe and just avoid the drama.

TBH, given the fact they can make up the rules as they go, it's a very real possibility. All they would have to say is we value X over Y. They've did it every year as far back as I can remember and there's never been one iota of consistency to their arguments. What held this year was forgotten the next: all for the sake of arranging the whimsical matchups the media happened to want at the time.

What he means is the committee wants to avoid a flood of LSU tears.

I think they definitely leave out Bama. People keep saying Bama bias on here… no, certain teams just didn’t take care of their shite. Bama bias is dead as is their program.

Make it happen please! That would be the biggest melt ever!

I hate agreeing with Finebaum, but I definitely don’t disagree

If we're dead at 9-3, what does that make LSU at 8-4?

Problem with that is the SEC difficulty should hold some merit and not just pusssy out and put a nobody in to avoid a debate. We know the SEC team would probably beat the team they would choose to take their place. I'd rather AN SEC team get in than left out and let the cards fall where they may. Its just more fuel to expand the playoffs to 16,

Clemson beating SMU makes it easy for them.
Clemson and SMU would both get in then.

All LSU all the time apparently.

SEC should just withdraw from the CFB if that happens

If committee is afraid they are crap…

This is the easiest and most obvious solution. Parsing among those 3 teams is a pointless exercise when there are plenty of 1 and 2 loss teams that can get their asses kicked just as well.

I feel like he might be right for once.

If we had a computer picking teams we wouldn't have to worry about what will happen. The computer sorts it out openly for all to see.

I expect Alabama to get in over SC and Ole Miss. Everyone wants to see Milroe and the 17 year old phenom, Ryan Williams. Ole Miss isn't deserving having lost to lousy teams. South Carolina will be blocked because they are way to good and no one else would have a chance.
Texas, UGA and the Vols are already in the field.

Deadlier than ever for LSU that expected to make the playoffs this year or soon after but the team keeps on flopping each season with BK as the HC.

If they keep Miami highly ranked that's what the are trying to do.
Keeping all the 3 loss teams out is the easiest thing to do, rather than letting 1 in and letting the rest get angry.

I guess I'll give you credit that you've stuck to your guns even after reality basically pantsed you in front of the entire world.
