Regarding Slow Horses, the show is very good and the books are even better. Mick Herron's writing is like a modern John le Carré with a bit of Joseph Heller absurdity.

Targeting is often unfair to defenders. I see running backs using their helmets as weapons and there's no call.

Cash Jones has made a lot of big and important plays for us contributing to wins. He has also made negative plays that were very costly. When Cash comes in opponents seem to know what's coming.

Arch Manning is showing his talent and playing well. Texas has two weeks to prepare for another loss between the hedges in Athens.
I would have preferred seeing the touchdown but simply killing the clock made sense.

I'm watching the Georgia game on Hulu at a friend's home. I have a new TV tuner that's supposed to be good. It will not pick up ABC in my living room so tonight I'm taking it to the attic.

In all probability, Disney and Google will make a temporary deal tonight.
The more I watch the more I love Gunner Stockton.
It's still early in the gold and silver boom. You can buy ETFs or buy physical and become a stacker. ETFs are liquid but stackers get to hold and look at all the shiny coins and bars.

Gunner is way better than I ever realized. Today's performance was mind blowing.
A silver 1964 liberty quarter is worth more than $8. Silver at the approximate $50 per ounce is probably undervalued. Ounces in China are trading at $128. I'm watching both the gold and silver markets but I'm only invested in gold.
NVDA is over. So is OpenAI. That bubble is running on fumes.

I purchased a bunch of silver when it was $18 an oz. It's $53 today. I'm waiting because I think it'll go up more. I have some gold too

It can be hard to find silver for $53. Physical silver is being bought and sold in China for the equivalent of $128 an ounce. Silver may be undervalued.
That sunglass-wearing dude, Dario, has some solid investment takes. I also like Ed Zitron's Better Offline podcast. Both of those guys see through all the AI hype. Zitron is amusing--he's profane and really pissed at the stupidity.
I dissed Chick-Fil-A and fellow members of the Georgia Sports Board came after my arse. I don't care and I don't eat chicken. Give me a ribeye or a rack of pork ribs.
There's no end in sight. I say let it rock, let it roll and let it ride.
Being on a cruise boat is like being in prison with a chance of drowning. Cruise passengers fall into one of three categories--the newly wed, the overfed and the nearly dead.

Nick Saban said something on Gameday prior to the Bama game that relates to the disastrous Cash Jones 4th and one call.

Saban said that the valuable lesson he learned as an assistant coach was to not think of plays, but instead think of players, in the most crucial situations.

Now would be a good time for Kirby to learn that.

Kirby is just looking out for the little guy. It's socialism applied to football. Let's keep the best players on the bench and give everyone a chance to lose.
Pete Thamel tweeted that Jackson Arnold has been benched after paying him $2M.
