Brad Davis just takes who he wants at this point
If schools like Oregon are paying non-QB’s 1.3M what does it even matter? Does it matter?...
lol recruit these guys hard for a year and then some school who can’t win games offers a blank check and takes them after recruiting them for a second.
This. I mean, what’s the point of having a recruiting staff at all if it’s just about who has the bigger bag? I honestly don’t...
he also said that nobody was going to be paying a million dollars for a 17 year old high school kid.
I still think this is going to be true eventually. It’s less about their age and more about the fact that they’ve never played a down. The southern schools don’t have PAC 12 money i...
Yea me too. There’s absolutely zero illusion that it’s anything but pro sports now and I’m rapidly losing interest in it. I guess the mosconas of the world are happy but this is gonna kill the interest for many people
I was scoffing at this mentality a year ago, I always felt playe...
Really beginning to believe LSU just doesn’t have the money to keep up
We don’t, but most of the SEC schools don’t have coastal schools’ money. But SEC is king, which is why this will correct itself....
A money cap might be too late it’s out of control
A salary cap would instantly solve this problem and it’s inevitable. ...
They have never played weaker teams like Arkansas and LSU and Missouri who can beat you when you aren't expecting it. They are used to cupcakes like Baylor, TCU, Kansas State, and Cincinnati.
It’s funny when Bama fans brag about being dominant when they haven’t won a championship...
If he's not, it won't be. He'll be more comparable to Max Johnson or Myles Brennan or Jarrett Lee.
Whoa, imagine that, if he’s an unsuccessful quarterback he’ll be more like unsuccessful quarterbacks. I don’t think anyone will ever be as bad as Jarrett Lee. Not even Milroe is ...
Saban's decline was on full display his final year when he only beat LSU and Tennessee by 2 touchdowns and then finished off UGA for the SEC championship. Great takes.
Relying on 4 freak miracles including a freakish Hail Mary to squeak by a team that got blown out by NM State wasn...
This is a sec board, use the proper abbreviation.
Also preferably be a fan of a team in the SEC Edit: it has been brought to my attention that Missouri is actually in the SEC, and I have verified it via ESPN but it has not been updated on Wikipedia yet. ...
I do think DeBoer is a good coach and hire. Wish we hired him last year instead of keeping Gaypier
DeBoer was the best hire they could’ve gotten after Lanning and Norvell turned down the job....

I don’t think baseball is any more popular than it was. I think Tennessee is just incredibly obnoxious because their trophy case grew from 1% capacity to 1.5% capacity. ...

re: Does Florida have no shame?

Are you kidding? Florida has more shame than any other team on this board. I don’t even troll them. They do it to themselves. I remember when just the look of the Florida helmet scared the shite out of me in football season back in the 90s. They were the standard....
What the rest of the SEC needs to get ready for is for bama to have the best offense in the country next year.
Offense will be the biggest weakness. But apparently Milroe won’t be down on himself for it. DeBoer is making sure of that in practice now....
Oh and by the way. They can’t get into his cellphone.
Hahaha. 2 years from now they’ll be like “oh, we finally looked at his phone, actually he was a Biden supporter”...
Some would disagree, but we’re clearly captivated by the term. I’ve figured out why. It stems from the unique mystique of being a successful has-been during a forgotten era. The sole blue blood, Bama, is not a “has-been”. The mystique isn’t the same. Imagine sitting down and reading a book on...

I mean, I don’t know if it changes how much they can control the narrative. They’ve been less successful, and took the bull by the horns when Biden had a bad showing at the debate. They knew there was no defending it. But that’s also them strategically controlling the narrative. I also think 60%...
