re: Is there a world where LSU goes into Clemson and beats the brakes off of them?

Would love that but I just cannot see this happening. It’ll be a close one and we’ll have to get a little lucky.
It’s sad but I can’t imagine LSU winning another game 1 if it’s a legitimate school. BK doesn’t get his teams ready. Period.

Remember when you guys bragged about how easy the SEC was after you destroyed the great juggernaut Mississippi State

Great recruiter
Boring but effective offense until it wasn’t. Then it was just boring and shitty.
Responsible for the worst LSU game in my lifetime at least

He set the program back a few years with that mistake and likely cost LSU a natty run with JD5
He will never have another player like JD5 and that is likely the closest he’ll ever get to a natty.

DeBoer is actually an above average coach
It’s so unpopular that I don’t even believe it

I'm also starting too dislike teams that I never had any bad feelings for, like Georgia. Helps when they beat us twice last year. I feel like a little rivalry is starting with them.
“They beat us twice the first year we joined the conference” does not mean rivalry
Bigger trap game for Vandy

Georgia State or Bama?
Georgia State – Coming off what’s likely to be a bruising battle against South Carolina, Vanderbilt could easily overlook Georgia State. If you’re looking for classic trap game energy, this one has it written all over it. A letdown here would be textbook.
Alabama – This is no ordinary matchup. The Tide will be out for revenge after last year’s 40–35 utter embarrassment. And with Kalen DeBoer at the helm, Vandy better watch out. He’s bound to ruin a few seasons here and there, just as he bulldozed the remnants of Saban’s legacy.
Discuss.

Same. I don’t bet on LSU games, but this is a guaranteed loss. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m not.

They kind of did by voting for Trump in such large numbers.
re: Memo to Mexico....."your" land was conquered, not stolen.
Posted by TN Tygah on 6/11/25 at 7:50 am
The only shitty part is that the US conquered them after they were depleted fighting off the Spanish 20 years before.
But yeah this “stolen land” bullshite is just that… bullshite.
It’s just that people hate to lose. The Mexicans would’ve taken everything they could if they had been powerful enough.
Same with the Native Americans. The Iroquois turned the Erie into an extinct tribe. White guys just came over and did everything they were already doing to each other, the white guys were just better at it.

Oh I see
I think it’s interesting that SFP and VOR are both lawyers. They’re both annoying black and white thinkers with huge egos, but SFP at least does some homework. VOR just talks out of his arse, does no homework and disappears from threads. He’s been like that since the Hornets Report days in the early 2000s.

Best thing that could happen is martial law, followed by rounding up all Lawyers and sending them to the camps.
Not that I disagree, I personally think too much freedom in a democracy leads to eventual tyranny because freedom is sometimes wasted on total idiots (“summer of love” is where freedom goes too far). Democracy into tyranny because of too much freedom is straight out of Plato’s Republic. That shite would never fly in China. It’s probably the main thing that keeps their people in line. They tell their people “this is what happens in democracy.”
But, just FYI, the best thing that would happen for the democrats is implementing martial law. They wouldn’t have to work hard to convince the average voter that Republicans are fascists. Whether you agree or not doesn’t matter, the average voter matters. Say goodbye to republicans in the white house for 2028 and maybe even 2032.

Trump would have won the election without Elon
He may have, but Elon helped massively. I don’t want to know what would’ve happened had he not stepped in.

he won because people were sick of the last administration and their corruption
He won because of the economy, the border, and the fact that Kamala sucks.

It's going to take more than 4 years maybe even 8 years after that to even start to begin to fix things
I’m not saying you’re wrong, but the average voters’ memories aren’t this long. When 2028 rolls around, people outside of MAGA aren’t going to be thinking “well, the problems we have are still caused by Biden so let’s give the R’s another 4 years.” They’re going to think either Trump fixed things or he didn’t (you cannot rationalize with most voters and say it takes more than 4 years), and they’ll vote accordingly. Average voters are stupid.
The Trump/Elon fall out communicates to the average voter that this administration doesn’t have their shite together. The two were promising big things and now they don’t like each other anymore. Vance runs in 2028 and will be associated with what people see as a disorganized / unstable administration. The Dems will absolutely capitalize on this.
I’m not saying the Dems will definitely win, I’m saying that Elon/Trump is a victory for the democrats no matter how you spin it, and the Dems will make sure no one forgets it.
re: And just like that, Trump/Elon is forgotten

It may look like that with MSM if they stop talking about it but the Trump/Elon thing will have lasting consequences for the Republicans. It’s hurt the credibility of arguably the most important figure in winning the 2024 election.

HOW EXACTLY does the country need CA?!?! I bet we can grow grapes and strawberries elsewhere.
Grapes and strawberries? What about tech and finance? Too much fancy book learnin’ for ya, maw? What about manufacturing? Entertainment? Drinking your prune juice by yourself is no fun without being able to switch between Andy Griffith and Magnum PI reruns. Total hillbilly shite.
CA is the largest donor state, tax-wise, in the country. CA has the fourth largest economy in the world. It represents 15% of the country’s GDP.
I’m from Louisiana. Usually proud of it (then I read stuff like CA is only good for “strawberries and grapes”). I’ve lived in CA, I hated it. But to say the US doesn’t need it is just embarrassing, and posts like yours are why everyone outside of Louisiana thinks we’re all dumb.
