you are trying to make something out of nothing here. Can you not see that the top of Fairley's facemask is stuck on Murray's? you may be blind if not.

What's clear is that Fairley was grinding his facemask into Murray's chin. You can see Murray trying to push him up off him while Fairley is doing this. If they were interlocked, he wouldn't have been dragging his head in the direction he was, but down, since his facemask was below Murray's. Nice to see which Auburn fans have the win at all costs mentality on here though.

Fairly was probably just in a rage because the UGA players were trying to take his knees out with intentional chop blocks starting in the 1st quarter.

Is taking a QB, picking him up, and driving his head to the ground, trying to break his neck, AFTER THE WHISTLE considered legal?

According to the NCAA, yes.

Did you notice the common theme in all those clips? The guy with the R on the back of his black and white striped shirt standing right there. How many flags did he throw? Yeah. None. go frick yourself.

The dirtiest player in the SEC. Two PF's all year. Yeah....

As long as you admit that he intentionally tried to injure JJ and should have been suspended for that hit.. i'm cool

He was being pushed by a Georgia O-lineman.

He was being pushed the other way! He went out of his way to make contact! If he wasn't such a dirty player allaround, people might be cutting some slack and say, "He was just trying to make a play." However, he angled his body and drove his helmet AT the knee - that's the way I'm calling it. He seems to exert extra effort when the ball is gone, because he knows the QB is easing up a little.

If he chooses to play that way, ee will be dealt with at the next level, period.

Good. So, it's cool if Bama does it to Newton. Good info.

I'll hold you to that.

i think only 1 illegal chop block was called by the refs, so all other plays were legal.

The Spear on Murray was flagrantry dirty IMO

The attempted suplex on JJ during the LSU game was also dirty (only play similar I can remember was the fridge slamming Neil Lomax decades ago - brawl ensued)

The dive for Murray's knee would be something I wouldn't be sure about normally - but given that he kept his head up to drive there... and plays to injure the QB I think that was dirty too

And if they don't throw players out of games for this kind of behavior then they should expect at least some teams will attempt to retaliate with similar consequences

Fairley has a bright future in the NFL unless someone decides to permanently take out one of his knees for his bullshite
