Pile driving is within the rules (until the Fairley rule comes out in the off season), but he took numerous late shots.

The guy's just dirty, no one argues this but a few Auburn fans.

LEgal hits usually arent called.

It is not like he karate chopped somebodies head, like Tyson Jackson used to.

Murray got hurt on the last one, but I didn't think that one was really that bad of Fairly. It is definitely a penalty in the NFL, but I don't know about college.

UGA isn't much better though going after him at the end and I remember them trying to take Fairly down with an obvious chop block early in the game.

I can understand UGA being made about the first two, but they should just get over it in regards to the third. That is just football.

You need to add the video of Fairley busting open Murray's chin. In my opinion there is no way someone can look at that and say he was within the rules or simply hustling.

Done. It is now in the first post.

Basically, I think Fairley is a fantastic football player. I don't think he needs to resort to late hits and face grinding to get his point across. QB's will fear him without that stuff. When you do that, you make yourself a target.

He hit the qb late 3 times, and finally knocks Murray out with a cheap shot on his knee. He shoulda been ejected and suspended. If this were the NFL, he would be out of 100k min and might even have to sit a game or two.

the last hit wasn't even a dirty shot

the spear was definitely a late hit.

What's the appropriate contact for the SEC office? The rant has power. I'd like and email assault on the SEC for letting that shite slide

The last hit was dirty you can see him move towards the end to try and take out his leg. The reason you know it was dirty was from UGA reaction on the next play. If had simply been blocked into him they would not have reacted that way.

That is why not one SEC coach has contacted the SEC office this whole season to complain.

If I was a coach in the SEC (any school) I'd be calling every day pointing this bullshite out.....this dude is gonna seriously hurt somebody and end their career.

Saban might kill Fairley himself if he pulls this crap in the Iron Bowl.

The powerbomb on jj was not illegal. It was just very unnecessary and malicious. I believe they call it unnecessary roughing, or unsportsmanlike conduct.
