The spear was wrong, plain and simple. I am pissed just by watching the spear. I am also pissed about Georgia players going at his knees, and Georgia Dlinemen ripping at Auburn's players facemasks. I also don't think Fairley tried to hit Murrays knees. He was being pushed by a Georgia O-lineman.

Nearly every great DT is "dirty" as they play aggressive and hit the QB early and often and late. Suh did this, Dorsey did this, and others after Fairley will do this. I'm not saying the hits he made are ones I approve of and that he doesn't need someone to sit him down and tell him by all means hit the QB but don't try to kill him.
