The first game I ever saw/attended that I remember was a high school game.

The first college game that I remember watching was the 1977 Sugar Bowl. Yikes.

The first college game I attended was UGA vs. VMI in 1978.

1st game I remember attending was as a 10yr old, Nov. 30th 1963 at Grant Field in ATL( had to look up the date). Dawgs lost 14-3 to the nerds in Coach Johnny Griffith's last game before Dooley was hired.

Dad always told me my 1st game was in Athens in '59 Wally Butts was still HC and I think Tarkenton was QB but cant remember it...

Imma old mofo

Yep. It was fun. Missouri beat Kansas in Columbia 19-7 in 1987. Robert Delpino dropped a sure TD or else it would have been worse. Mizzou was crappy that year (5-6), but KU was even worse (1-9-1).

Used to get to stay up until halftime of MNF when Cosell and Don Meredith called it. Don’t remember any particular game but that 3 channel tv had Bradshaw, Swann and Stalworth, Theisman, Staubach, and Tarkenton on it.

The first game I remember watching on television as a kid was the 1979 Sugar Bowl, Bama and Penn State. First in-person college game was 1983 Florida vs. Auburn. First Bama game was 1984 LSU vs Bama at Legion Field.

First in person that I can remember was Eagles @ Falcons in a preseason game, the debut game for the Georgia Dome (RIP)

I saw an FSU-GT game at some point around then, may have been before I don't remember.

That was 1969.

Fixed it.

I was close but as they say close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.

I faintly remember games from Bryant's final season (1982). I remember the Liberty Bowl with him getting carried off the field in that big coat.

First pro game I actually remember watching was the Miami-San Diego 1982 playoff game. Miami had a valiant comeback, aided by a hook-and-lateral play that 6 year-old me thought was the coolest thing ever. I became a Dolphins fan that day even though they lost.

Bills/Redskins SB.
CFB would be the 92 Outback Steakhouse Gator Bowl on TBS. We beat NC St and I thought it was a big deal because it was called a Bowl.

Very true. I was alive for his last two titles, but way too young to remember.

First college game? Yes.

My dad got us season tickets for Duke football when we moved from Rhode Island to North Carolina. It was Steve Spurrier's last year at Duke where they won a share of the ACC championship. First game was Duke vs Northwestern.

Duke started 1-3 that year, then won the rest of their regular season games.

First pro game was a Falcons vs Lions game after we moved to Atlanta a few years later. It was cool getting to see Barry Sanders play live.

Penn State 9, Alabama 0 at Bryant Denny. Circa 1990 maybe.

I remember it was a big game atmosphere and it was three field goals.

I remember going to that game as a student.
