Were you around for 1980?

Isn't that Lane's resume?

Why is A&M scared to host UGA?
GT’s woes in football over the years are not due to leaving the SEC.

In his coaching days, a player asked if he had played in the league. He responded with a simple, "Yes".
One of the other players, "He's in the Hall of Fame".

Why do you prefer that? You don't want to see the best 12 teams?
A team that finished fourth in its conference does not deserve a shot at the championship.
I don't want to see an all SEC/Big 10 playoff.
A conference shouldn't be any larger than 10 teams, and each team in the conference should play every other team in the conference each season.
Teams like Purdue, Northwestern, MS State, etc, shouldn't have a shot at a championship because they were around when clubs formed a century ago and they have ridden the coattails of others to be considered "power" while others are excluded based on membership.

Yikes, I guess UCLA’s admin doesn’t care about tradition.
How can you say that about a team that has long been a pillar of its conference?

Why do you say that?
I say that because I would prefer to see a conference champ over a team that finished fourth.

It’s way too early for actual news (or actual rumors).
No, no. LSU fans were convinced that Lane would quit Ole Miss midseason for their job.

Walker > Philips
Walker looked better yesterday, but Philips looked good before his injury. I hope he can make it all the way back.

They need to get rid of this auto-bid shite. It's complete DEI in a game that has zero place for it. Hell, we play sports for sake of meritocracy.
Negative. A conference champ should get preference over the #4 team from the SEC or Big.

LOL. That's not the numbers. We're done.

That's nice. Still doesn't change the fact that UF has more blue blood hardware than UGA.
Must be Florida math.

Both schools have three national championships.
UGA has 15 SEC championships and two SIAA championships
UF has eight SEC championships.

There’s 8 programs with more wins than Georgia.

Maybe you'll crack the top 20 one day.

Rofl ok you so want to have a political argument when I literally just mentioned him as a sympathetic what if and moved on to people who have and continue to be massive impact players.
This isn’t the place to have a political argument about Colbies case, but I’ll just say based on the way how it was handled and the “crime” he ended up being convicted for not many people care are actually on his side. You can believe what you wish. We had these threads last year so I actually know I’m right.
Back to this game
I'll agree to drop it, but no, you are not right.

Last year he was clearly becks fave target and had like 4 TDs before he was accused of things that the accuser herself went to the DA and told them she wanted it gone and wasn’t true and the Da had to spend an unusually long amount of time.
There was CLEARLY probable cause for the arrest. She "recanted" due to financial interest. The solicitor, not the DA, gave him a plea deal for a misdemeanor. He was, in fact, convicted of a crime resulting from the incident.
I don't hold the injury against him as that's football.
Why don't we drop this line of discussion and enjoy the win?
