Trinidad’s first game.
Chambliss had started 16 games before this season. He won a national championship as the starting QB at his previous school.
Didn't he take over as starter against Arkansas four games prior? If so, didn't that make the UGA game his fifth start at Ole Miss?
Which conference has/had the most teams in the playoffs?

The season is almost over...then it will be talking season and Tennessee's time to shine!
2026 has to be THE year that Huepel gets his QB, right?!
Poaching ND's coach is and always will be a bigger deal than poaching Ole Miss's coach. Kelly's hire did seem to come out of nowhere. Lane's a media circus.
I know I'll get scorched for this, but Kelly had a better resume than Lane does. It just didn't work.

As to sleazy or not, that's going to be a matter of opinion. I don't think it looks sleazy at all.
While the outcome won't set a legal precedent, I would think that most of the coaching staffs out there are hoping for a UGA win to try to get to some sort of stability. Maybe not, though.

We beat your arse last season and played you to the wire this season at your place. Go put on a diaper.
Did you make it to the SECCG last season? Who won the SEC last year?
Were you in the SECG THIS year? Who won the SEC THIS year? Who won the head-to-head matchup THIS year?
A term sheet is not a contract.
Within GA, civil suits are heard in the county of residence of the respondent. For example, if a Clarke County resident sues a Fulton County resident, the case would be held in Fulton County.
It gets murky when residents of different states are involved to include the possibility of a case being moved to federal court.
The actual contract may have language stipulating where the case will be held.

Ole Miss has never even made the SECCG. They aren't big anything in the SEC.

I was being sarcastic. Sorry for the lack of an emoji.
(I'm a Stallions' fan, if there is such a thing.)

If we're going to expand and completely remake the college football postseason why can't we just get rid of the bowls and play all the playoff games on campus until the natty? At least that would give teams something to play for.
I'm cool with that.

I am happy Sankey said no to 24 teams who is criticizing him?
He's an employee. It's not his decision.

Expanding beyond current number will lead to a bunch of blowouts unless more P5 teams get in instead of G5 teams, realistically their are about 4-5 teams with talent to win CFP title rest are just placeholder
You have a short memory. Look at last year's first round scores.

Did they not Lear anything this year with Tulane and JMU? Really need the BCD back.
Tennessee lost 42-17 in the first round last year.

If Sankey caves and agrees to this his arse needs to be fired on the spot.
He's an employee. He won't be making the decision.

So Sankey will get criticized no matter what position he takes on this
He's an employee. His position will be determined by what a majority of the member institutions tell him his position will be.

Increasing past 16 will just lead to a bunch of blowouts in the first round
How is that any different from the past two years?
Look at the scores from last year (and no G5 teams were in those games).

I'm here at the game. Pretty decent sized crowd honestly. More people than come to UAB games.
ETA: AJ McCarron signing autographs in the concourse,
Well, he is the Stallions' head coach. That has to be a huge draw.

I forgot it was today, but I flipped over once I saw this thread title. GSU/App is a long-running rivalry game, and I have personal connections to each school.
Numerous entire teams opted out, and App was the only team that would accept.
But hey, this board must love rematches based on its CFP posts.

I could be wrong here, but I think this is about whether these NIL agreements are legally binding. If Wilson wins, I imagine this would set a precedent in a direction that no one wants.
Trial courts don't establish precedent. The verdict in this case would merely be persuasive, and the weight of that persuasion is going to vary greatly depending upon the state law in which the case is decided.

How is anyone with actual legal knowledge going to be able to offer an informed opinion without having read the actual contract?
G5 has a playoff. It's called the College Football Playoff.
