Tampa Spartans (University of Tampa). Tampa Stadium, the "Big Sombrero", before it was a Sombrero. The local Pee Wee Football program always had an appreciation night. Went as part of that while I was in 2nd grade.

I want to say that I started watching college ball during the 2001 or 2002 season. I remember Chris Simms at tu, and OU had a RB named Quentin Griffin. I went to my first Aggie game in 2002, to watch them upset OU and knock them out of the NC. But NC wise, the first NC game I saw was the 2003 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, with Miami and Ohio State.

First college game I can remember attending was the Sugar Bowl with Pitt and Georgia. Dan Marino was the Pitt quarterback.

Fortunately, I don't remember the first football game I ever saw - Alabama lost to Vanderbilt for homecoming in 1984. I was 3 years old

Saints - 49ers 1987 in the Super Dome. The Saints lost to Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, and co.

I was so young, and have no memories of the game itself, but I vividly remember walking out of the dome afterwards, understanding that the Saints lost.

The first game I ever remember watching in full was the 1989 Iron Bowl. Needless to say it was a disappointment. The second game I ever watched was the 1989 Sugar Bowl against Miami. It was equally disappointing. Lol

The first game I remember was a HS game. My father was the HC. The first I remember on TV was a St Louis Cardinal game. I vividly remember watching and being glued to Jim Hart, the SL QB. Was in 75 or 76. No clue why it's ingrained but it is.

Like it was yesterday. It was 1972 just a few days away from Christmas. It was a short time after a wild game between Auburn and Alabama that had everyone going crazy. Bumper stickers were on cars and people were still talking about it.

I was sitting on the couch and there was a football game on. It was a team that had these cool helmets with a pirate on it. I remember a QB from Alabama came in the game and scored a touchdown. I know that because my Dad made a big deal about it. Looked like that team had it won. Then this crazy play happened and everyone in the stadium went crazy. The team with the cool helmets lost and I felt bad for them. That started my life long football obsession.

Sorry so long but I have always wanted to tell that story.

September 17, 1977 USC played Miami of Ohio, we won 42-19. I had just turned 15 the month before. Several girls from USC rented a house down the street from my parents house. I cut their yard and they invited me to a game. Sat in the student section and it was great. Much better than HS football.

I watched Earl Morrall throw a TD to Homer Jones probably in 1965. Homer became my favorite player as a NY Giants fan back then as a kid. He invented the “spike”. I also watch the Jets/Raiders game which turned into the Heidi Bowl.

The earliest on television I remember was laying on the floor watching LSU football sometime around 1980-82 (based upon my age and the Grandparents living room I recall).

The earliest games I remember were USL around the same time. My dad played for USL from 65-69 so we went to a lot of Cajuns games in my youth.

As a kid, I was more like luggage that was brought to the game, and I can’t remember a specific game that was the first football game that I ever saw. The first time however that I do remember being actually engaged in watching was during the Bert Jones era at LSU around 72. He made an impression on every kid my age at the time to the point where I absolutely had to have a #7 LSU jersey that I wore everywhere. The Ruston Rifle was the first actual superstar I can recall as a kid.
