Hard to say greatest of all time as everyone would have a subjective view of what they deem as greatest. Do not see how anyone could say this hasn't been the greatest offense. Those numbers were off the charts.

I'm not big on comparing the elite teams of all time and guessing which one would beat the other, but this LSU team has as much of a claim as any of the other great teams of all time. There's a very strong case for this LSU team being the best of all time for sure. Anyone that disagrees is either lying, doesn't know football, or is a bama fan lol. Geaux tigers

The greatest team of all time implies a complete team. LSU was the 9th ranked defense in their own weak conference this year, so of course not

Lau had one of the greatest seasons of all time and one of the greatest offenses of all time. They should definitely be one of the top 5. But their defense is probably what holds them back from being the best of all time. They have great individual talent on defense but they wasn't dominant enough throughout the season to be considered the best. If the defense was better from start to finish you would have a great argument to be the best. The defense is what holds you back. But you are certainly in the top 5 however you want to rank that.
