Greatest team of all time doesn't need a team in their division to get a serious injury to their QB 2 weeks before the game and require an unforced fumble by that team in the redzone and a TD that should have been called back to beat said team by 5

Yeah.

Greatest teams of all time don’t let teams that lose to 8-4 Auburn squads get within 5 points.

Thank you for those thoughts. They are priceless, heart warming, and a gift that never ages or grows tiresome.

Post more like this.

But please, just don't poison our trees.

Playing with the rules in place for 2019 LSU would absolutely roflstomp 1945 Army.

I can't even...

Teams in the 40s and 50s would be demolished by even the most average college teams.

Talent, size, strength, speed, coaching...its not compatible

I rarely use this word...but THIS....

discussing best team of all time is just a bunch of opinions and impossible to conclusively say.

I think best season of all time is something we can state with a good amount of certainty.

I'll say it again, 11 of the 15 teams the 2019 LSU football team beat were bowl teams.

Six of the eleven won their bowls: Texas, Florida, Alabama, Texas A&M, Georgia, Clemson (beat Ohio State in Peach Bowl).

Four of the eleven lost their bowls: Georgia Southern, Utah State, Mississippi State, and Auburn.

A fifth, Oklahoma, lost their bowl game to LSU.

If that's not the highest number/percentage of bowl teams beaten during a season ever, I'd be shocked. It's almost certainly the highest number/percentage of bowl winners ever beaten in a season.

Alabama doesn’t claim titles via AP? You should look that up.

"serious injury"?? Tua must really be a god if he was able to practice 1 week after a SERIOUS injury

Btw, here's a quote by Nick Saban after the game:

"I think he was 100%"
