yes, but, "Texas #9" ruined the entire graphic. F*** that nonsense.

The other team that belongs in this conversation is 2013 FSU

I would have to say yes, but let's not discount the former champions. All hold a special place in college football lore.
I'm just happy that LSU can share a spot in this history as having the hardest schedule with the most dominating wins!

Most accomplished? Yes, and that is objective.
Best? No, but that is subjective.

Oh FFS. We get this every time an SEC team wins a national title. "They are the greatest team of all time!"
Different teams in different eras.
1945 Army played 5 ranked teams (2 of which were ranked 2nd in the country at the time) and outscored them 217 to 33. They scored 300 more points than their opposition that season. LSU scored about 400 more points more than their opposition in 2019 but played 6 extra games.
Playing with the rules in place during 1945, even though they'd be giving up some weight, Army would maul the 2019 LSU team. Playing with the rules in place for 2019 LSU would absolutely roflstomp 1945 Army.
And so on, and so on, and so on.
Is 2019 LSU a great team? Well yeah. They are. Are they one of the best teams of all time? Yeah, they can be put right up there. The best of all time gets into too many subjective factors though.

Including awards in this discussion is dumb because Larry Coker, Ken Dorsey, Grant Delpit and Frazier all got the 2nd or highest award at their respective position and we all know how much of a turd the other 3 outside Delpit ended up being.
“Throw out the awards because the teams I’m arguing for didn’t have players good enough to win them.”
Brilliant.

Discussion: Is 2019 LSU the greatest team of all time?
Counting Texas as a top 25 win
Texas was #9 when we beat them. Gee, do ya think maybe they dropped because we BEAT them?
And I think we DID beat the Final #s 2,4,6,7,8 and 14.
NO ONE HAS EVER COME CLOSE TO DOING THAT...
Another thing. Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and Clemson were a combined SIXTY AND FOUR (60-4) outside of their losses to LSU. 60-4. And LSU beat each by an average of 3 touchdowns....

Some of those guys weren't even major contributors on that 2001 team.
Willis McGahee: 67 Carries, 314 yards, 3 TDs
Joe Burrow had more rushing yards ... he was basically their Ty Davis-Price
Kellen Winslow: 2 Rec., 34 yards
Lanard Fournette had more catches
Antrel Rolle: 8 Tackles, 1 PBU, 1 Int
Maurice Hampton Jr. had more tackles
Sean Taylor: 26 Tackles, 0 PBU, 0 Int
as a freshman... "carved a niche for himself in Miami's secondary in nickel and dime coverage packages... making an impact on special teams"

I’m sure their Heisman winning running back, 5’9” 175lb Glenn Davis, would maul 6’4” 240lbs Jacob Phillips.
Get out of here.

it's between yall and Miami. Nebraska really shouldn't be mentioned in my opinion. I'd go LSU. I think yall probably beat both of those teams.
