Meanwhile, Kaitlyn DePoor has gone on the record to beg his fanbase for more money multiple times now

Right after getting blown out by 35 to a Big 10 team

LSU fans have convinced themselves that they have unlimited resources lol if you have ever driven through or spent any amount of time in the state of Louisiana, no one would come to that conclusion

Lol, you clearly don't know the amount of "old money" donors that are from and live in Louisiana. None of them like their names in the limelight, but they are all over Louisiana. They've owned politicians forever in this state.

I can't wait until August to find out what this is all about

Is anyone just flat out tired of the college sports fiasco
In what world is a college softball player worth $1 million when she will never make that in any professional softball league on the planet

Wow. They really are broke.

Quite the opposite. It’s a presentation to go over LSUs new NIL package which is what ultimately led to Ole Misses head coach leaving.

At least Ole Miss has a good older QB and floated some emotional revenge spending money for 2026, after that it’s all downhill.

An Alabama fan starting a thread about LSU athletics and most of the responses here are from Ole Miss fans. It's like turning on your outdoor lights at night and watching the termites swarm.

Limiting transfers to just once would solve a lot of the issues. Players ability to re-negotiate their "contract" every single year is what's caused everything to get way out of control.

All joking aside, I do hope this isn't a situation where LSU is about to announce a PE deal.

The moment that gets into the SEC anywhere things will get really shitty for everyone in the conference.

you know how unsustainable the budget of the athletic department looks

News a few weeks ago:

In the 2025 fiscal year, LSU athletics reported just over $223.4 million in expenses, which is a 36 percent increase

News yesterday:

LSU has fired its chief financial officer (CFO) Tommy Smith, who was paid $390,000 per year.

LOL @ people throwing shade. My guess is something that’s already been suggested by others such as private equity investment like Big1G proposed or the University of Utah has already done.

There’s nothing to see here. More grandstanding by the Governor.

FWIW everyone knows the current financial model of college sports is not sustainable without major changes in revenue and costs. What was free “plantation labor” is now being compensated at huge expense.

I guess you haven't kept up with our program. We are having the best recruiting class in a decade.

I don't get why Ole Miss fans keep bragging about this.

1. Many of you have spent the last 5 years saying that high school recruiting doesn't matter very much anymore

2. It's July

3. Your class isn't even top 10 despite already having 22 commits, per the 247 Composite.

LSU fan: Things are going downhill for Ole Miss!

Ole Miss fan: We're actually recruiting better than we ever have.

LSU fan: Why do you keep bragging about that?!?!?!
