Pretty cool breakdown.

What does it look like when having all games, not just within 28pts?

Did you run it with 2019 A1? They were pretty damn explosive or 2018

How many ranked teams has Bama faced this year?

Until you have those stats after playing 7 of the top 10 teams, shut the frick up.

It's not games that were < 28 pts, it's stats from when games are less than 28 pts. It removes garbage time.

I didn't, but 2019 Alabama was above all in some and below in others. 2018 Alabama is below 2020 Alabama in basically everything (that's actually where this came from, we were discussing 2018 vs 2020 on our board).

I think Alabama has faced a pretty similar SEC slate to what LSU faced, outside of not facing itself (or an equivalent). However, 2019 Alabama's defense was average at best, so it doesn't really change much there.

Alabama played 2020 Georgia and A&M defense, LSU played 2019 Auburn and Georgia. Pretty similar in the end.

Weird response to a thread with a bunch of stats. Sorry it upset you.

Just because they are a Top 10 team doesn't mean they have a great defense. If Alabama runs the table they will have played 13 teams from the Power 5 (11 of them from the toughest conference in all of college football). That blows what LSU accomplished last year out of the water.

You’re too angry and if Alabama wins it all this year it will destroy you. This isn’t even a troll type thread.

The only people who seem to have fully and openly given in to the circumstances created by the wu-flu is a segment of LSU fans for some reason.

The most impressive part of LSUs 2019 season was the last 4 games.

Unfortunately y’all don’t get to play Oklahoma this year

They were explosive but not very efficient with Brennan.

They are just not very good without Brennan.

Bama has 8.50 yards per play. Can you extract what that stat is prior to the Tennessee game, and from that game to the present? It’d be interesting to see that number with and without Waddle.

I’m to lazy to do research on my own.

I think the average SEC defense was better last year,

yeah, and I'm convinced that the drastic dip in defensive efficiency in the SEC is due to the lack of spring, lack of summer workouts, a shortened fall practice, and no warm-up OOC games. Offenses are typically going to have a bigger advantage with a lack of preparation. What Alabama is doing is impressive, no doubt, but I just can't accept that the SEC defenses are really as bad as their performances this season have been. Almost half the conference held teams to fewer than 20 ppg last year, and this year only one team, Alabama, does, allowing 18.5 ppg, and even they weren't under 20 ppg allowed until after they played Kentucky.
