Where do you find stats on how much a qb has been pressured in the pocket?

Those stats have been posted here before for last year. LSU was in the 70s in QB pressure and sacks.

Meh, I still think Charles, Ingram, Cush, and Lewis are solid players

Obviously they're solid players. Three of them are starting in the NFL this year. But as a unit, they were kind of overrated. They weren't bad by any stretch, but they also shouldn't have been named the best OL in the country like they were.

Sec StatCat has a "pressure %" stat. PFF's stats have a lot too.

OOC cupcakes for anyone this year either.

Honestly... some people are legitimately "special" because how many awards and significant stats and wins have been racked up by those games vs OOC teams?

Why not compare all of 2019?? Why, because this year is all SEC. Ok, some compare those to only SEC games in 2019.

You bumps sure aren't giving back any trophies or hardware because your team played some OOC games. Were those stats taken away from your player's records?

Typical... typical... hate. Changing the tune just to fit the song that's playing in your head.

They did a really nice job in the run game. They were pretty average as pass blockers, but the offense and specifically Burrow's unearthly instincts and ability to move around the pocket and outside of it certainly assisted them.

I understand this is a troll board, but its clear defenses are not remotely the same due to the nature of this season

I think the average SEC defense was better last year, so that probably has a bit of an advantage to the 2020 units.
The highest ranked SEC passing defense is 59th this year-Mizzou

Think about that. This year is 100% an anomaly for defense due to covid

I wouldn't say they aren't remotely the same, but across the board they are definitely worse.

I also feel pretty confident that this group for Alabama would be putting up very similar numbers in any year. Maybe a slight tick down, but not much.

Yards per game is a pretty silly thing to use.

In SEC vs SEC games last year the top 5 YPP defenses were

1. Georgia (4.52)
2. Florida (5.05)
3. Auburn (5.06)
4. Alabama (5.24)
5. Tennessee (5.34)

In all games this year, the top 5 YPP defenses are

1. Georgia (4.98)
2. Alabama (5.03)
3. Texas A&M (5.25)
4. Arkansas (5.34)
5. Missouri (5.50)

Offenses are getting the better of defenses this year more often, but it isn't some sort of cosmic shift.

2020 Scoring Defense
1. Alabama (18.5)
2. Georiga (20.6)

4. Auburn (24.5)
5. Missouri (25.0)

You are

(a) using pass yards per game

(b) comparing total seasons in which teams played 3-4 games against 1AA/G5 teams vs a season in which teams played an entire schedule of SEC games

Passing offense has definitely been better than passing defense this year. Total offense, though, on the whole, has not been all that much better (as the stats posted note).

Scoring per game is up, 25.7 PPG to 28.4 PPG, a jump of 2.7 pts. However, 2018's SEC vs SEC scoring average was 26.7 PPG - right in the middle of the 2.

So in reality, there isn't that much difference in scoring offense or YPP compared to past years outside of the normal, gradual climb in offensive numbers since 2012.

Why you filter to games just within 28 points?

It's when the games are within 28 pts, not games with margins inside 28 pts. When the games are outside of 28 pt margins it's what is commonly referred to as garbage time, and teams generally do not try to move the ball/score in the same way or with the game players.
