I think this is the absolute most over rated factor in college football.
It's not. There's a reason why offenses try to quiet the crowd when they're at the line and why coaches practice with pumped in crowd noise. It's a lot easier to operate the offense when the QB can communicate verbally and everyone can hear the snap count.

Best win is a bad Georgia team.
2019 LSU beat a better GA team by more in the SECCG, and blew out both the reigning champ and #4 back to back to back. Not to mention a very good Bama at home with Tua under center. The success of 2020 Bama hasnt come near that until they also play it.
Wheres the stat for that?

Alabama is ranked #2 in Total YPP defense
They've played #1, #3, #5, #6, #7, #8, #10, #13.
They play #12 this weekend, #4 the next weekend and #9 in the SECCG.
They won't play #11 or #14.
