Paying money to NCAA football and basketball players is the only thing that turns a twinkle toed SJW into a capitalist pig. It’s really comical.

You gonna divide it to the player at New Mexico, Air Force, Valdosta State or just let the rich get richer.

u are too dumb to argue with but you do understand title 9 right? You do understand workers rights and workmans comp as it would then relate to an employee of said Unversity.

I would be in favor of some kind of escrow for all athletes across the board, same amount, and give them once they graduate. If they don't graduate then give them a pro rated portion based on the number of hours they have completed.

5 year assured scholarships and coaches having to follow the same transfer rules as players would be a helluva start.

No I didn't but that's why I don't have a six figure paid college education and I am paying my own loan back. Nothing you said disproves my point. They get paid a lot of money now.

making a coach sit out a year will never work. Do you have to sit out a year on your job if you want to go work across town for more money.

I don’t make millions off employees who only get their school paid for... so, not sure real world analogies will work in this situation.

That's a select few. Most college football coaches spend more time at fundraisers than they do recruiting

So pay them but take away free tuition and books? Let them use the money to pay their own way?

college players are pampered to no end ... they're getting plenty, though not in direct cash ... the only thing they have to pay for is alcohol and/or weed, and they probably don't have to pay for that ...

Yeah the players get nothing, other than free education, food and board, stipend, grants, best training, nutrition, and medical care in the world, and national exposure to get famous and possibly go to the NFL and make millions

Yeah, but they generate far more than that. Hell, the city of Tuscaloosa makes about 17 million a year off their efforts.

LSU has the most expensive coaching staff in the country?

We both know that isn't true. Harbaugh/Dabo/Saban and now your coach Aranda-less Jimbo are paid more overall

So unless your staff is working for free, that isn't true. We have the highest paid OC/DC in the nation

Forget paying the players, how about we put a salary cap on the coaches and bring their pay back down to a regular level so that fans don't have to have a trust fund just to enter the damn stadium.
