Why? Because it’s an opinion piece based on that author’s priorities.

Why is the state of Oklahoma always on these.

Oklahoma gets lumped in with the usual suspects (Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, West Virginia) on all these lists. Occasionally... somebody like Kentucky or South Carolina or Tennessee will get added to the list.

As conservative posters have pointed out... These lists are usually put out by liberal sources.

But what is hilarious (and you see it on this board all the time)...

These same conservative posters who defend you against the libs for putting you on a list... will use those same damn lib talking points to attack your state in one of their own posts...

CNBC is like Ms.NBC..so fricking liberal it is fricking insane. Just like if Foxnews post the same ranking it will have mostly red cities. But I think Ms.NBC is easily worse with their insane bias.

Would you want it any other way?

This. Studies have shown that 98% of all studies agree with the party funding the study. I think we know which groups support CNBC.

I am proud to live in a state that ranks low on inclusiveness, child mutilation (sorry, gender-affirming care), and abortion rights (sorry, reproductive rights)

I honestly enjoy these types of lists because I always hope it keeps people from moving down South.

I am born and bred Louisiana and moved back home after we had kids, strictly for the family aspect. Louisiana has a lot of cons to deal with but it has an astronomical amount of upside as well.

Exactly, it's so unique in all the best ways. Does it have a lot of noticeable cons? Absolutely, but you get an amazing living experience there you can't find anywhere else and eat the best food in the world, the upside to compensate is incredible

California is BY FAR the worst state and there isnt a close second

Imagine paying $3000 a month for a 500 square foot studio apartment with homeless people sleeping right outside

If you are a celebrity, super rich, or homeless it's great
